Today is Tag Day so I'm enjoying the fact that I get to wear jeans to work (teacher life).

Doing absolutely nothing this weekend because of the bitter cold. All I need to do is laundry and if DH is feeling better, might go see my parents, but that's about it.

hahahahah butt dialing still happens?!

Last night we went out for a little pre-Valentine's dinner and I'm so F-ing excited for my leftover for lunch today- pasta with alfredo, bacon, and scallops!!

This weekend, nothing, probably rent a movie. We are weekend do-nothing people.

Indeed. A bunch of us get together and just gorge on bacon. Bacon beer, bacon dips, chocolate covered bacon, bacon. And then there's some more bacon.

It's by coincidence that it's on VDay. But we don't celebrate VDay anyways.

I'm helping my mom clean tomorrow morning at her house and then my house the afternoon. DH and I will probably grill out steaks or something.

Sunday is our relax day. Church in the morning and then lunch and lounging.

Tonight, I'm going to the best damn Indian food place with a friend that I haven't seen since before my wedding, so I'm excited!

Tomorrow, we will probably go out to dinner. Otherwise, the weekend will be spent cleaning the shit out of my house since SOMEBODY didn't do it during the week, as promised.

My friend and I are going to Victoria's Secret after work to get some treats for our honeys. FI and I have talked about getting a hotel room Saturday night, just for a nice romantic change of pace, but we're not sure what would be available on such short notice. Either way we're going to do something fun this weekend for sure.

He texted me to let me know he is sick as a dog and working from home today. I failed to lock my screen and somehow called him. Hopefully he will hear that voicemail and assume he's hit the Nyquil too hard.

TGIF indeed! After a week of horrendous commuting it's finally over. I am meeting a friend for dinner tonight. I think it's a sushi night.

My weekend is still in flux. It depends on how bad the storm will be and if they close our public transportation system. If it's open, then we are going to a party tomorrow night. If it's closed, than we will be staying home and making fajitas and tacos. I need to catch up on RHOBH.

H is lucky that he's planned a romantic weekend away for us or he'd be stuffed in a snowbank right about now. He left my car on empty last night and didn't give me a heads up so I got to put gas in my car this morning in -20 degree temps. I'm still cold an hour and a half later.

Tonight we're going to cuddle up with the fire and watch the Lego movie. We've been trying to watch it for months and never get a chance.

Tomorrow he's taking me away on a surprise overnight trip and I have absolutely no idea where we're going. I think it might be somewhere in the Adirondacks because he wants to leave around 10 am so we're obviously not going somewhere close by. We'll just be gone overnight and come back on Sunday.

Monday we both have off for President's Day so we're going to try and get all of the icicles off our roof and gutters and then go furniture shopping since we got our tax return back yesterday.

omg that is awesome. i got a butt dial from a friend whose number i never saved. i said hello for 20 seconds and the call ended. then a text saying sorry butt dial. i said thanks jesse and scared the shit out of him because he couldnt figure out how i knew it was him.

this week has been miserable because of my cold and shit going on at home i am ready to spend the weekend with my FI. we dont live together yet and havent seen each other since sunday.

I think my dear old cat may have to be put to sleep today. FI is supposed to take her to the vet's as soon as they open. Last night she was wandering aimlessly, kept bumping into walls, and trying to squeeze into tight spots. We locked her in a bathroom overnight so she couldn't fall down the steps, and this morning she was wedged into a corner with her head propped on the wall instead of in her beloved soft bed. She's fairly old, anywhere from 12-who knows, I've had her for 9 years and the vets could only guess at her age when I first got her from the shelter. So I'm at work trying to not be all sad but I'd rather the vet helps her transition if that's what needs to be.

Mi fiancé comes home Sunday from his job. He's been gone for 6 weeks. He'll be home for 2 weeks and then leave again. He said he was taking me out to dinner on Sunday. I'll also be babysitting for my grand pup. Lol. Son and DIL are going out of town

Going to dinner and a bluegrass concert tonight and the Baltimore Aquarium tomorrow for V-day! SO tried to keep our Valentine's day plans a secret but he's a bigger blabbermouth than I am so he blurted it out this morning.

I'm suuuper excited. There's a really rad blacktip reef shark exhibit at the aquarium I've been wanting to see SO BAD.

This made me crack up SO HARD!! This is why I don't have my boss on my phone, I'm terrified I'm going to butt dial them one day. I butt dialed my parents after my HS graduation. We were getting kicked out of a kareoke place for sneaking in bottles. It was a fun night when I got home...

It's Fridayyyyyy! Tonight, heading to the gym, and possibly taking my coworker who is visiting from Austin to Brooklyn after. Tomorrow, we are making a Vday dinner, and Sunday a date with the girls to watch 50 shades. Don't judge me, I'm a sucker for movies based off terrible books.

The vet wants to keep her all day today to observe - I'm hoping it's something treatable but we won't know until she gets there. FI should be dropping her off at any moment now.

**update - the vet thinks it may be a kidney infection and wants to keep her over the weekend and give her fluids via IV and meds. Hopefully this gets her back up on her feet, and hopefully she won't have any chronic kidney issues afterwards - I think renal failure is pretty common in old cats.

No super big plans. Typical lazy Friday for me, making steaks and crab legs for dinner at home tomorrow, then going to the fancy theater at the Detroit Institute of Arts on Sunday for a showing of all the Oscar nominated short films with friends (we go every year) then dinner afterward, I think at the schmancy wood fire pizza place.

I brought these to work today. Nobody tell H.

My ridiculously adorable FI sent me flowers at work yesterday. We don't usually celebrate valentines day so when I called him to thank him for them he said "Happy Thursday!!!" hahahah. I'm so happy I get to keep him.

Not too much on the go this weekend. It's been freezing rain here all night, which does wonders to the copious amounts of snow we have. The roads are treacherous so we may just stay in. We like to go every saturday and sunday down to these hiking trails on the outskirts of town to get some good cardio in, so we may still do that since we have spikes for our winter boots.

FI has to work all day sunday so I will probably take the opportunity to catch up on some cheesy girlie shows.
