So, I have used Vistaprint for various customized project (coffee mugs for an organization I'm on the board of, that sort of thing). I've always found them to be fully adequate for my needs and reasonable in price. I ordered our STD magnets last week from Vistaprint and while I haven't received them, I expect them to be perfectly adequate for the purpose of an informal mailing.
My question is about their wedding invitations. Admittedly, the styles are not exactly all stellar. Still, there are some that are workable. I ordered the sample kit and even ordered the smallest quantity possible of a design I thought was ok just to see (at 60% off they were so cheap). However, so many sales are going on today/this week. For example, the Minted sale where you don't even have to commit to picking out exactly what you want is kind of awesome and my sister recommended them. They still are far far more than Vistaprint will be though.
Sometimes I see a sample of really beautiful invites and think, oh wow, I want that. I went to a bridal show and touching the beautiful stationary was just lovely. And then I look at the price tag and think, dude, that is going in the trash at some point, it's not worth it.
So what are people's actual experiences with Vistaprint wedding invitations? Were you happy with what you got for the low price? I've read both good and bad about them but want to get a take from you stationary gurus out there.
