Your colors?

2

Re: Your colors?

  • I'm not 100% for sure yet, but I'm leaning towards navy, magenta/dark fuschia, and accents of gold. Trying to incorporate my fiancé's choices in there, and he likes blue. So I guess kinda jewel tones. It's hard to find inspiration pics but I've found a few.
  • Dark purple, teal, and charcoal gray :-)

  • Our setting is very west coast beach/forest inspired so we are working with more soft, neutral shades inspired by nature - specifically more succulent colours: sage greens, lavender, blush pinks, greys, etc.and deeper versions of these for dimension. Bridesmaids are all wearing different colours in this colour theme!

Everyone has such different ideas, it's neat to see all the different combinations!

We are doing medium/dark purple and a light green. My favorite color has always been purple, so I have always had it in my head and I let my FI pick the second color.
    Me too!
I had a tough time deciding, but after looking through so many blogs (I don't do Pinterest) I kept coming back to a dark purple (plum? regalia? African violet?) and lime green.
  • Light blue, pale green and brown.

  • I like neutral pallettes so we are going with blush pink, ivory and gray.

  • I am doing blush for the girls and navy suits for the guys.  Just something about those colors are romantic.
  • I love all the colors especially peach and teal!!!

For the first three years of our engagement I was set on Lavender and Sage for our color scheme. After many years of research and the making of my own ceremony and reception accessories and decor, we have finally settled on the colors Eggplant and Silver!

They surprisingly both look great together! :) I believe the shade of purple we are going to do (at least for bridesmaid dresses) will be either plum or lapis.

  • I am doing Navy White and Gold with a Nautical theme.  You can check out what I have so far under my Pinterest account  Julie Fulton, the board is Nautical Nuptials.
  • We're doing a nice deep red, chocolate brown, with some light green & ivory accents (think apples & apple pie!)
  • We are doing.....Coral (more peachie pink). aqua and Chocolate

  • Does anyone think Ivory, Pewter, and Black is gawdy? I didn't want a "color" color like purple or magenta because I'm going for a classic/vintage theme.

Lace, pearls, and lots of candles! My bouquet will be cream colored orchids and the centerpieces are pillar candles on top of crystal accented pillar-holders.....

My tablecloths are pewter and I can't decide if I should do black chair covers with an ivory sash, or a pewter chair cover and no sash....thoughts? I don't want the room to look too dark and these combo is tough to balance!

  • black and white with red accents! was kind of "forced" into picking them as our reception place provides black and white linens and our chapel has a red runner but ultimately I'm happy with this because it looks classy and elegant.
  • We're doing blush pink and grey!  I LOVE pink and it's a nice, subtle, flattering palette for our barn wedding :)
  • It's backyard wedding that we are hoping to make as detail-oriented and chic as possible- all while keeping it fun and laid-back.  Some kind of weird middle ground. Our colors are yellow (our centerpieces are lemons with babys breath) and cornflower blue.  FI will be wearing a gingham cornflower blue shirt with vest and tie.
  • Ps. It's labor day weekend- so we wanted to keep it more summery vs. fallish.
  • Really dark purple (plum, i guess) light peach, and gold!  There will be some ivory in there too.  Everyone has such great color combos!!  Is everyone just as excited as I am?  I literally cannot wait.
We have almost the same color scheme! We're doing champagne, light golds, and deep purple (plum/eggplant) as our accent color! You have great taste ;-)
  • Blush pink and gray. There will be small amounts of gold in various places too!
  • @sheknows6 I don't think your colors sound gaudy at all - it sounds very classic to me!

The black chair covers might make things look a little dark, though. Maybe you could do the pewter covers and an ivory sash? Or just ivory covers?

I still haven't made up my mind.  Too much time still left and I keep seeing color combos that I love.  The static color remains chocolate and ivory. With that I think I will be adding green, a deep red, and maybe hints of a pale yellow.  UGH...I dunno.  LOL!

    Love is the ultimate superpower.
It can make you weak and strong simultaneously.

  • Blush, ivory and gold!
  • Burnt orange, dark red, chocolate brown, tan, and... turquoise.  Sounds a bit odd but I think it'll work.  The turquoise will just be an accent color here and there.  My venue's chairs are dark red and instead of spending money to rent chair covers, I decided to just go with it.  Tablecloths will be the chocolate brown with burlap runners.

  • We are going with Navy Blue with Yellow accent (Sunflowers as our main flower) but we will have some red and orange accents too.

  • September 26, 2015 Baby Blue & Chocolate! Can't wait :)
  • Deep red, black, ivory and bling!!

I wound up choosing black chair covers with pewter chair sashes and pewter table cloths; there's enough light from the silver and the candles where it balances out :)

  • We are going with malibu blue dresses for the girls (coordinating ties for the guys) and the guys are wearing charcoal grey suit.  We are accenting with varying shades of purple.  My dress is ivory.  The bouquets are a combination of the malibu blue and the purples.  The flower girl is also in ivory with light purple accents.

And since it's a farm wedding, lots of burlap and lace!
