  • In the not so distant past, my family received food stamps. THE SHAME.
We lived on food from the food bank not too long ago.

My breakfast is not legitimate. It didn't include any cheese. I demand a do-over. @SBMini, please call my H and tell him that he needs to provide me with an honest breakfast tomorrow.

  • The fact that I have never been to, or even seen, a drive-thru liquor store is proof that I have not sufficiently lived life to the fullest.
I'm not sure it's an exclusive to AZ thing, but most out of staters are freaked out by them. But they are fucking fantastic. They always have huge drinks super cheap (like sodas) with crushed ice and you don't have to get out of your car!
  • OH my gosh you GUYS.  My Apartment is not legitimate because my landlord is a minority.

And every one of my neighbors is a member of a minority.  These are couples living all around me.  I share all of my walls and even my floor with them.

My day is not legitimate because of the horrible snow here.

It's a wonder I haven't been Knifed at the bus stop or the train stop I go to EVERYDAY.

They have them in North Carolina too! It's like driving through a cave of liquor! I think they're called "beer-throughs" or something like that. Amazing.

  • One of the Drive through liquor stores in my parents town also delivers.

  • @MagicInk and @novella1186 I live in Bumfuck Alabama and have never ever ever seen one of those.

I want one though. Just for the novelty of it. I probably would never use it.

    I guess I'm illegitimate. :/ Oops.

Your parents clearly live in a very shady part of town.

When I was a teenager, there was liquor delivery in my city. It was amazing for parties because as long as there was one 18-year-old or someone with an okay fake at the party to answer the door with all the cash, you could get hundreds of dollars worth of booze for an entire party with no underage problem. It was pretty much the best.

  • I almost bought a bottle of wine but then I didn't because there was a minority standing nearby so I realized the wine was shady. Dodged a bullet there!

SB complained about the cash checking place but I am pretty sure it was also a different poster who was upset about living in the same town as minorities.

I technically live in a basement :( AND it doubles as a walk through wine store for my friends. two strikes.

Clearly y'all have never been to the great state of Missouri. Drive through liquor stores ABOUND.

YES! Louisiana has drive-thru daiquiri places.

YESSS. And when I moved from Missouri to Atlanta and discovered the drive thru liquor store I was like "aww this is just like home!" Obviously I was in the nasty part of town. Drive thru liquor and a bunch of poor college students...SMH...

They're brew-throughs! None in my town though :(

Also, my day is not legitimate because I only got 3 inches of snow, not the 8 I was promised. Ugh. You can tell the weather forecast was written by a man.

  • I actually know of 3 brew-throughs in IL, but they're the only ones I've ever seen in the state.
One of them has suckers for the kids and biscuits for doggies. The whole family gets something!

    WHERE?
  • Lol I just really love that this thread is now 8 pages long. And no one is even disagreeing with anyone. It's just hilarious jackassery.

  • I don't just live next to minorities, they don't speak English! They're Hmong, which I never even heard of before moving here, so that's, like, not even a legitimate minority. It's unamerican, which is inherently dishonest.

  • @MagicInk lives in a bad part of town because there are lesbians there.

  • Sycamore Lundeen's, possibly DeKalb Lundeen's, and there's a tiny one by the courthouse in Sycamore, but I can't remember the name.

This is drive-though closed bottles, though; no open drinks, obviously.

I didn't really use them because the liquor selection at the Sycamore Hyvee is the best around.
Oh yeah, Hyvee is where it's at. By me, Wooodman's is THE spot.
