Need Jersey/Tri-State Bachelorette Ideas!

I am honestly stumped on trying to decide what to do for my bachelorette party. My wedding is the end of April, I would like to do it a couple weekends before so it's not too close to the wedding.. AC (Atlantic City) is too played out and half the casinos/hotels are shut down, I have no desire to go there. I don't want to get bombed for my bachelorette party, nor do I want to do the whole male stripper scene. I'd like to have a little bit of relaxation, but also some fun without going overboard. Maybe a little time at a spa or just a mani/pedi, some dinner, and then a few drinks and dancing. I want it to be affordable so that my friends can join in with me and not feel like they have to break the bank to have a good time, nor do I want to break the bank! I was thinking NYC but I honestly don't know the area well at all. I've been to NYC plenty of times but that was mostly to see the tree at Xmas time or for a concert or hockey game at MSG. I don't know any descent restaurants or bars in the area or hotels. Does anyone have any suggestions or has anyone done their bach in NYC? Or does anyone have any other suggestions or places/areas to go in the tri-state for a fun time for a bach?? I'm open to fun ideas! Starting to cut it close on time and I don't want to wait til the last minute!! Thanks all! :-)

You should not be planning your own b-party. Problem solved.

You can give "suggestions" for your bridal party.  I also live in NJ and literally have no idea where my girls are taking me.  However, I have requested no AC or a bar crawl.  It is perfectly acceptable to tell them what you really do not want to do but unless someone has offered to host then I would stay silent.
If someone else is hosting I can recommend a day/night in NYC away from times Square, a vineyard tour (go to several different vineyards in NJ), go to New Hope/Lambertville, or someone can host a spa party.  If someone is hosting and can't figure out suggestions you can give them this list.  If no one has even offered I would assume you are not going to have a bachelorette.

My girls took me on a wine tour - rented a limo for a few hours and went to a few local wineries and then out to dinner. It was nice, they brought cheese/crackers and some snacks to sit outside to eat.

has anyone offered to throw you one?   You shouldn't be telling them what you want to do.

My friends took me up to the Finger Lakes to go wine tasting. You could also check out some areas on Long Island, like North Fork.

Wine tasting is a good idea out east in Long Island.  You could also do some wine tasting in CT and then stay over night at Fox Woods or Mohegan.  There is actually a ferry that you could take between LI and CT and they have overnight trips to the casinos.  Not saying you have to gamble, but you can take advantage of the casino dance clubs and restaurants.

Well for my cousins wedding we did a road trip with the
girls to Montreal for a weekend. It was absolutely worth the drive!!! We stayed
downtown, and experienced the city vibe. We went on a food tour, and let me
tell you... the food was so crazy amazing!!! The sites were beautiful, you
could see the history with the architecture and the night life was awesome!
There are these speakeasy type of clubs that just appear out of thin air as
soon as the sun goes down. So fun, I highly recommend it!
