  • I'll feel bad for your wife.  I've never felt bad for an internet wife before.

I think it's the same as feeling bad for a husband. But with more feelings....or....something.
  • Probably.  I've felt bad for lots of RL wives before so maybe it's like that?

  • My oldest just turned 2 in December, and my baby is 3.5 months.  Just starting to emerge from the newborn haze.

Nice!  I'm undecided about #3, but the further away I get from the nb phase, the less likely I want to go through it again. My older dd is almost 5.  Where has the time gone?!?

  • We are good with 2.  Just trying to decide what "permanent measure" we want to take.  If I could guarantee #3 would be a girl we'd consider it, but since I can't, we're good with our two boys.

    Hi ladies.

What differentiates an average host and a great host is anticipating unexpressed needs and wants of their guests.  Just because the want/need is not expressed, doesn't mean it wouldn't be appreciated.
  • Hi Lynda.  How're you enjoying CO? (assuming you're still out here)
  • Hiya @lyndausvi!  How have things been 'round these parts?

I love CO.  I love the people, the weather.  Everything.

DH's job is great.  They treat us so well.   Great move for both of us.

No where near as much fun as when you all were here.    But there are some good peeps who keep the SS inline.

Sorry.  DH came home.  I hadn't seen him all day.

To answer your question,  we moved to NOLA about 4 years ago.  Then to Indy.  A year ago DH took a job near Aspen. No more hotels or resorts. He works for a private country club.   Amazing place to work for.  I've never seen DH happier in his career.    No more corporate BS.

No more boats for me.  I have an office job now (actually I work from home).

The summer he is very busy, so I decided to work part-time at the club also.  Fall he gets 3 weeks off. Spring 6 weeks off.  Winter he only works 4.5 days a week only a 6 or so hours a night.

I can't say I'm thrilled not working boats anymore.  I'm making less money, but DH is making more then enough to make up for my loss.  Our quality of life is so much better now that it's worth the trade off.
