Anybody care to Flash their cake? I love wedding cakes!!

Mine was - rose ball is fondent, top tier white chocolate with buttercream and icing, middle chocolate cake and chocolate buttercream and bottom white chocolate again, we also had a cutting block of traditional cake with jam and buttercream and icing.

I loved picking my cake so much (especially the tastings)

Our cake knife was Vera Wang

This cake is from my first wedding. It's fondant with vanilla cake and buttercream filling. I'll post my second wedding cake (cupcakes!!!) tomorrow when I can get to my wedding CD!

Our cakes were kind of similar in design!! The pic of mine is in my signature pictures.

ETA: Two cakes were chocolate with chocolate cream filling and butter cream icing. The middle cake was yellow with banana cream filling and butter cream icing.

We had 3 cakes - one for us/our guests and cutting, a surprise groom's cake for my husband that was golf themed, and one I purchased for my MOH from an allergy-friendly bakery because she is very allergic to nut products and cross-contamination. We also had cannoli nachos which were a huge success

Ours was a classic cake from Dewey's Bakery, white, chocolate, red velvet, and white on top with buttercream icing on the whole thing and it was so delicious! There were barely any leftovers.

Was just a vanilla. Buttercream icing covered with fondant ribbons and sugar flowers. This fondant was the best we'd ever had.

The largest tier was cannoli filling with a layer of chocolate & a layer of white cake. Next tier was chocolate cake with chocolate ganache. Next tier was white cake with strawberries & cream filling. The top tier was almond cake with raspberry filling. All in buttercream.

We had a Viennese hour (essentially an entire room of dessert) so hardly any cake was eaten. We took the entire rest of it with us and froze sections, and they are still delicious!

OMG cake. I didn't get to eat any at the wedding but we had 2 tastings so I know it was good. Our baker was amazing and we actually had 6 different flavors.

That is going to be our cake, from top to bottom: nutella, traditional wedding cake, lemon, chocolate and a swirl thats done here between yellow and chocolate.

All I said was we had a pearl motif and our colors were gray with pink accents and she came up with this! We loved it!

We had layers of chocolate cake and banana cake with chocolate truffle filling and layers of fresh banana.

All your cakes look so lush ladies and some flavours I had never heard of for a wedding cake :-) fabulous X
Don't know if it's same in the USA but in the UK years ago it was strictly sponge and a layer of fruit cake you was meant to keep until first babies christening or first anniversary whichever came first it's not until recently new flavours was heard of my mum couldn't comprehend a chocolate wedding cake! !

I'll play! The top two layers were marble cake with cream cheese frosting, the bottom was chocolate cake with a raspberry cream frosting.

Ugh this thread has made me hungry. I WANT ALL THE CAKE (and cannoli nachos, holy fuck, those sound heavenly).

I'm forgoing cake for cupcakes, dark and white chocolate covered strawberries, white French macaroons and some sort of dessert bar TBD... Something like these... Not my pictures

CrazyCatLady3, I love your cake, especially the topper! I wanted cats on the cake but my H was not in favor! One of my friends gave me a cat topper anyway, but the top of our cake had flowers and it didn't really go. We used it as decoration on the table.
