GOOD MORNING!

After work tonight, @GoldenPenguin, @buddysmom80, and @csousa1 will be at my house!!!! We're going to snuggle and eat and drink.

Tomorrow morning, I have to weigh in really quickly and then we're going for pedicures, grabbing lunch, and then hitting the road for.......... @hummingbird125 's bachelorette party!!!!! Pretty much everything is a secret from there on out, though, so moving on.

Sunday, we'll likely all be hungover and tired. We'll drive back to my house and then when the girls have to leave I'll cry. Except that @csousa1 is staying until Monday. I hope that there is pizza involved at least twice this weekend.

Yay Friday!!! @Swazzle your weekend sounds perfect!

I'm a little peeved this morning because my boss changed my work schedule. Our company got a new president and she thinks that he is going to be super adamant about having our office spaces filled every day so that means no more working from home and no more leaving before traffic begins. I know those all just bonuses that we won't get anymore but it messes up my schedule completely with Maddux and going to the gym so I'm pissed.

Anyways....tonight DH and I are going to go to a yoga class! Then our CrossFit box is having a cookout. Hopefully it doesn't rain too much.

Tomorrow I plan to spend most of the day packing and cleaning.

Sunday we are getting brunch with some friends from high school in ATL and then packing some more. Then @labro is coming over and we will watch GOT together!

GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD MORNING! My Friday is starting out great because last night I came home to a box full of mini cupcakes from @swazzle. I had to be a sleuthy sleuther because there was NO NOTE. But the cupcakes came from NJ so I put 2 and 2 together and texted her to verify. They were so yummy. I'm trying to pace myself so that I can enjoy them over a couple days, but I wanted to eat them all at once.

Future ILs have been visiting since last Thursday, and they are heading to PA this weekend before heading home. I LOVE having them, but I'm also excited to get back into our normal routine.

Tonight we have to go buy a new dishwasher, because ours broke 2 day before my birthday. The universe wanted me to get myself something boring and not fun as a gift. Boo on you, universe!

Tomorrow we're going to tackle the several mountains of laundry in our room. Seriously, I don't think one article of clothing is in a drawer right now. It's really bad and driving me absolutely bonkers. I love FI, but he is kind of a slob, and it kind of rubs off on me. I get lazy and then NOTHING gets done. With my knee and not being able to be as freely mobile as I'd like, it's difficult. Then, tomorrow night, Elijah has a soccer game around 7pm.

Sunday will be more cleaning, hopefully getting our dishwasher installed, and grocery shopping. And then...GOT!!!

TGIF. This week has been up and down and I need the weekend!

Good and bad yesterday: Papers have all been signed for the house and we get the keys on Wednesday! But then I went to my dress fitting and it was a disaster. I've been so stressed this week, we've had a bunch of WR things go wrong, and this was just the last straw. I may or may not have cried a tiny bit. It will all be fine (I think...I hope...) but it was not a good night.

Tonight FI and I are going to the Jays game! I told him earlier this week that I was feeling like he hasn't been putting effort into our relationship lately, that the house and wedding have taken all of his energy instead, and then yesterday he surprised me with this plan for tonight

Tomorrow we have a million things going on. FI has hockey and then we have to drive up to my cottage to pick up the windows that I want to use for our seating chart/place card display. We were going to go back in the fall and got screwed over with an early dump of snow up there, so I've been really antsy about this! We have about 3 hours of driving time total, and I plan on making those hours count and making some decisions that we've been stalling on. On our way back we're going straight to the meeting with our venue to go over numbers and menu and a bunch of other things.

And then my bachelorette is tomorrow night! It's supposed to be a surprise...but my co-worker slipped up and I know it's tomorrow. But I will still act surprised, since my BMs wanted to keep it a secret! I don't know what the plan is at all, but I anticipate that it will lead to me doing absolutely nothing on Sunday!

Tonight is for housework and picking up a few more cards we need. Tomorrow is for cleaning and lots and lots and lots of it. This place will freaking sparkle I tell you. Sunday I'm going to the spa (thought I was going last week, didn't happen), my parents are coming up to drop off some wedding decorations, and we're cleaning.

Oh and somehow this week I managed to get drafts of two dissertation chapters written, so those are ready to go and I have 7 of the 8 in draft form! The last one won't be done until mid-May - it's a literature review that I haven't done yet because I did my research all ass-backwards.

Good morning, ladies!

Finally Friday!! Work has been super busy and I just feel beat up! I feel this weekend is going to be super super busy. H has poker and I have SO many errands to run that I've been putting off. Loki needs a bath, I'm hoping to go bike riding at least once, I think to go over to SIL and get my amended taxes and re-file (I had to wait until my original file went through before I could re-file the amended ones, thankfully the refund amount didn't change, stuff with the medical) I'd like to stop over at MILs to swap out kindle fire's (we ordered her one for her Bday and one for us, but gave her the one with ads accidentally and we don't want her clicking on something and saying 'but it was free').

My nutrisystem order FINALLY shipped, I had been buying boxes from Walmart - so finally I'll get some more variety.

Yea! Everyone has such fun plans! Have a great time at the party!

We have nothing planned other than I have to work at the restaurant tomorrow since everyone has prom. I might go check out prices on new beds. I am thinking a sleep number since so many of my friends have one and love it! Ours has a big bow in the center so we constantly roll into each other which defeats the purpose of having a king.

Ugh I'd be so annoyed @southernpeach89! I wish I could WFH. My mom does most of the week and I'm so jealous.

I feel like this week has been DRAGGING! It's not even 9am yet, this day is going to be so long. After work I'm going to my friend's house to visit.

Tomorrow I think I'm going back to the jeweler to buy a wedding band! FI will be working so I'm taking my BFF and she wants to look at some sparklies.

Sunday we have FI's aunt's wake

Monday is the funeral but I don't know if I'm going to go since I'll have to use a vacation day and I need a lot of my vaca time for wedding stuff.

So far I've received 12 RSVPs back in the mail and it's so exciting ripping them open!! But OMG I made a big mistake on one of the invites. I addressed an invite to FI's uncle and his GF- except I used the WRONG LAST NAME for the uncle. I have a cousin with the same first name and I used HIS last name on the uncle's invite!! I can't believe it- I checked the list so many damn times and I didn't catch it until I went to add their response to my spreadsheet. I was mortified. I sent the GF a message explaining I mixed the names up and I was so sorry.

The best part is- I didn't even invite my cousin who's last name I used- and FI's uncle's last name is FI's last name- so my future last name. I'm such a dumbass.

Morning!

Not really muck going on with me, I'm working through the weekend and I have finals starting Monday so I am going to be doing a lot of studying.

I am really hoping to be able to talk to my boss today. I mentioned to her yesterday that I wanted talk about where my career with the company is going and kinda gave her a quick overview of WHY I wanted to talk. I told her I know my chances of moving up to higher positions are slim because of our district manager's relationship with a former shift supervisor who worked with me and was promoted 6 months ago. And we have another supervisor transferring in who actually just stepped down from being assistant manager for a while but decided to go back to school. So she's going to always outshine me because of her experience and add that to the fact that I am currently the center of the blame game with the rest of my coworkers, nothing I do is ever good enough anyway. And with the added time it is going to take me to graduate because of my reduction in financial aid, I am basically going to tell her that it is time for me to look for other options.

I know it's not really recommended to tell your boss that you are looking elsewhere but in this case we have a really close relationship and all of these variables that are making it hard to succeed are at work now and I never came here to just earn a paycheck, I always intended on working hard and moving up and getting a lot of important experience while I was in school. Now I need experience elsewhere, like in a more corporate setting, and I need to start getting to that point.

I am just so frustrated and this whole thing is complicated I don't even know where to start.

Nothing big planned for this weekend. Tonight we have nothing so I'm sure we will just hang and relax.

Tomorrow the weather is supposed to be super nice so we are planning on cleaning up the yard and planting some grass. The people who owed the house before us had a trampoline and chicken coop so we need to keep trying to get that grass growing. We also might be going to a friends house and out tomorrow night.

Sunday we have no plans. I think it is supposed to be nice then too so we will most likely take Tessie for a walk and try to get her out and about!

No idea what we're doing tonight... probably dinner out somewhere.

Tomorrow I'm running with a group of ladies. I might do 6 miles, I might do 10-12, I haven't decided yet. It will depend on how my leg feels.

Sunday, @tuarceatha and Mr. Tuarceatha are coming up to run a Cupcake 5k with me and Mr. Tiger. Then we are going to watch playoff hockey. It will be glorious.

@beanbot2002 - I hear you on the in-laws. My MIL has been here for 2.5 weeks. I love her, but I want my morning routine back. It would be 1000x better if we had a guest bathroom and I didn't have to stop my morning routine every time she has to go to the bathroom

It's FRIDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I said goodbye to FI this morning, as he's leaving for his bachelor party this afternoon. I hope he has an awesome time. After work today, I'm going to try to kill as much time at the gym as possible. Then, I'll pick up something for myself for dinner and maybe grab some fro-yo for a snack for later. When I get home, I'll clean the apt. and pack up for MY BACHELORETTE PARTYYYYY!!! and then I'll wait for my sister to arrive from MA. She's not supposed to get to my place until around 11pm :-(

In the morning I have to drop the pup off at the pet resort, and then wait for my bff/MOH and my other sister to come by to pick up the rest of us, and then we'll head to AC where we'll meet up with @GoldenPenguin, @Swazzle, @Buddsymom80 and @Csousa! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And then.... I have no idea where we're staying/where we're going/what we're doing.

HAPPY FRIDAY!!!!

I am so excited about this weekend, I can hardly stand it. I'm working today, and leaving early so I can get my butt down to @Swazzle's house ASAP, where I'm going to mouth kiss everyone, snuggle Booj's face off, and blow raspberries on Lucy's tum. And hopefully not get attacked by Brody-Monster.

Tomorrow I'm going to drink all the coffee so that I'm not an old lady at @Hummingbird125's bachelorette party

We're going to have so much fun. AC has no idea what's about to hit it.

Sunday, I'll cry as soon as I leave @Swazzle's house, until I get home.

I'm super jealous of everyone who gets a nice weekend. It has rained literally (and I mean literally) every single day this week. And it's supposed to rain an inch tomorrow and more rain on Sunday....UGH. I hate it so much. What's the point of enjoying warm spring weather if you can't be outside? Plus yesterday it got in to the 50s...

No plans for us tonight. We had a larger than normal credit card bill this month (Thanks Lowe's!) so H said we need to cut back. I think I'll take the down time to work with him on setting up a Roth IRA for both of us and adjusting his student loan payments now that my loans are paid off.

No plans tomorrow either. H's friend wanted to go kayaking, but 1. It's raining and 2. The water will be frigid, especially after our chilly temperatures so I don't think we're going.

Sunday is GoT with @southernpeach89! I'm bringing my coloring book and colored pencils so we can color and watch TV together! And then Maddux is going to slobber all over everything.

@Labro I FORGOT about our coloring session! So excited! I'm not sure if Baby Peach becomes a tomato...it's quite possible since he/she hasn't been one yet. Next week is a sweet potato though so I don't know if a tomato can be bigger than a sweet potato?

I have no exciting plans at all this weekend. Tonight I have to be at the theater for a bit. Saturday no plans really I hope we will work on cleaning up some yard stuff though. We will probably be home at night to watch the Ranger's playoff game. Our entertainment room is finally set up and finished though, the new TV got wall mounted yesterday, the room looks great. Sunday it's supposed to rain I don't think we will do much exciting except GOT at night. I hope I can kick being tired this weekend too. I am not looking forward to next week at all for so many reasons so I hope the day goes by really slowly. Ha ha I doubt that.

All these fun bachelorette plans this weekend!!

Not much exciting happening here (at least compared to all that!). Grocery shopping today then I'm going to a YL oils class tonight. Tomorrow I'm getting up to go to the farmer's market and get my seedlings, and then tomorrow evening we're supposed to go to a professional soccer thing. I even have a team shirt to wear!

Sooooo glad it's Friday. I've got my work out done so the rest of the day is all mine!

I'm back from the conference! I'm exhausted, but I really enjoyed being down there. I love the energy of conferences, and I love going back to Austin. The food failed me this time though-- every restaurant I went to (which were all Austin staples) had crappy food. At one point Wednesday night I woke up with a REALLY upset stomach and was worried I had food poisoning, but luckily everything settled down before Thursday morning. There was a lot of coworker drama too while I was there, but all in all it was a good time.

Yesterday after my plane landed I went straight to @audrewuh 's house, and we discovered the awesomeness of the new prickly pear Shiner. You must all buy some immediately! It's an order! She also helped me figure out what I was doing wrong with quilting (I couldn't sew in a straight line to save my life... my quilt was starting to look like a 4-year old was sewing it), and now it looks MUCH better. She's a great teacher.

Last night when I got home, FI made steak, Star Wars mac n cheese, and peas. It was NOMS. He also brought home an Otis Spunkmeyer chocolate muffin for me. I'd say someone missed me while I was gone. :-P He is seriously the best. I didn't get a lot of cuddle time with him though because I was so tired from barely sleeping the night before due to the possibly-mild-but-still-not-fun food poisoning. I crashed by 10pm and slept HARD.

Tonight we're going to a friend's house to hang out with her and her mom and discuss our wedding invitations. Her parents are going to make them for us at their bindery, so we're going to discuss design and cost and stuff tonight. They told us a few months ago they would likely only charge us for the cost of the materials, so I'm hoping they'll cut our invitation budget in half.

My plans this weekend fell through a few days ago... we were supposed to go to the local Renaissance festival tomorrow, but it's supposed to rain all day. If it does, we'll go to a Sherlock exhibit at a nearby museum instead, and if it doesn't rain, we'll go party Medieval style all day. Sunday my friends from college were going to come visit, but their work schedules changed, so now they aren't able to make it.

Sadness. I need to deep clean the apartment, and then afterwards I may go hang out @audrewuh 's again and drink prickly pear Shiner (seriously, it's delicious) and practice my awesome quilting skills some more. We'll rinse and repeat on Monday night.

OK, work is still insane, so I need to get to it. Hope you all have a fantastic Friday and a great weekend!
