Explain the Lilly products. People are raving about the line and I feeling lost on the appeal. I saw the commercial and was still lost.

This is me as well. I have no idea who this Lilly person is and why her clothing is a big deal.
    I'm glad I'm not alone.

Live fast, die young. Bad Girls do it well. Suki Zuki.

Ditto.  The prints looked like knock of Vera Bradley prints.

Apparently this designer is super popular amongst southern sororities?

Very, I never really got into the clothes at all. I did like some of the housewares from the Target collection, but again, not enough to BSC on people.

Oh yes, very popular. Girls in my sorority would spend 200 bucks on a sundress. With bumblebees on it. When they were 19.

I agree RE: the housewares. They were very cute. I did have my eye on one cute dress, but most of their stuff doesn't do it for me. Too loud.

  • She does make really super cute well made nice fitting bikinis. Always did.
Beyond swimsuits, Meh. Not my style.
  • Well, that explains it.  I knew it was coming, and I had to run to Target at lunch today for some odds and ends, so I figured I'd check it out.  That sounds incredibly naive now.  I saw the signs up in the store, but none of the actual merchandise, and I didn't care enough to ask about it.  I saw the preview online a couple of weeks ago and thought DD would like a few of the dresses, but that was the extent of my interest.

8:01 on a Sunday morning, I'm making French toast, not fighting my way through some kind of scrum at Target.

Haha, I was drinking coffee with my H. Then I moseyed on over to Target at a reasonable pace.

  • All the hype reminds me of when a new Beanie Baby came out and everyone lined up outside stores to get theirs.

I'm not a fan. The website (not the stuff for Target) shows young models, but I can't really imagine anyone wearing this stuff except over-tanned, Florida retirees playing golf and bingo.

Maybe this comes from me being in a sorority in the south, but Lilly strikes me as being for the 16 to 25 demographic. I can't imagine an older person (like someone my moms age) wearing a Lilly dress, let alone a retiree.
