  My fiance and I have a lab/hound mix and he's total baby, he was also 9 months old when my fiance rescued him from the animal shelter (they were going to put him down the very next day because no one wanted a dog that old ). Mutts usually make the best dogs in my opinion.

  Thank you! The concept of "bully breeds" is absolutely infuriating. I have a 7-year-old pit bull/bull mastiff mix who wouldn't hurt a fly, but we've struggled so much with the perceptions that people have based on her breed. It's almost impossible to find apartments in my city that will allow "bully breeds" and it fucking pisses me off. There's no difference between my dog and any other dog out there, and to have breed restrictions on apartments is the most biased fucking thing. These perceptions have spawned breed-specific legislation in some cities, which is literally killing innocent dogs. It's disgusting.

  No one wants a 9 month old dog? Did you mean 9 year old, because 9 months is still a puppy.
