Help my FMIL choose her dress...

Hi Ladies,

My FMIL is so stuck between TWO GORGEOUS dresses..

Which one do you like better?

We are getting married November 7th on Long Island. I have also added in the bridesmaid dresses and my mothers dress with each just so you can see! (maids are in eggplant, my mom is in gold)

Would love to get your thoughts.. I love BOTH so I really am not that much of a help!

I like the navy one better on your FMIL, but the contrasty one looks better with your mom's dress and it differentiates her more from the bridesmaids. Does the navy one come in a color more similar to your mom's dress (and more different from the bridesmaids)? The contrasty one is all WOW DRESS, but the navy one is WOW, LADY.

I think that the navy dress hugs her in all the right places - it only comes in navy but that was the original color she was looking for!

The other dress is beautiful too, but if I could rock the shape of that navy one, I'd do it in a heartbeat

Uh, yeah, your FMIL has a great figure! The navy is my favorite with the gold/black pattern-y one a close second. They are both gorgeous.

My first thought was that if that is your FMIL's body in those dresses, she HAS to wear the navy one. Damn!

I like the navy dress, don't like the other dress at all. The ornamentation at the neckline detracts from her figure.

I say the navy as well. Your mom looks like the has a fabulous neck/shoulder area and the other one just doesn't show that off (since both flatter the rest of her!)

I think the navy one is more flattering on her. The other dress is stunning, but either the cut or the ornamentation is making her look like she doesn't have a defined waist in that one, which she clearly does based on how she looks in the navy.

I love the designs on the gold/black one, but the top makes her shoulders look broad. I love the shape of the navy one, but I think the color is too close to the bridesmaids. Sorry, I'm not much help.

Your FMIL and mom both look amazing!

I'm going with the grain and saying the navy looks absolutely FABULOUS. The gold one is beautiful, but it kind of does weird things with her shoulders, height and figure. If I looked that phenomenal I'd be ROCKIN' that bod.

@feeleytobe SHE DIDNT YET!!! She thinks maybe there is something else out there. Which is fine. She said she LOVES BOTH, as do I and everyone else but she doesnt get the "THIS IS IT FEELING" which is fine, I will gladly keep going with her to look.

Im just nervous if we have to order - we are running out of time!

If she doesnt find a "THIS IS IT FEELING" dress - she is going to get the navy one!
