Invitation wording (pip)

I think I am nearing completion of our invitations:) I think this has definately been the most time consuming wedding task I have taken on! However, I would definately say it is well worth it.

Here's our wording:

This is a rought draft that is not centered or glued down.

The white space will be taken up by this cherry blossom stamp (it will match the front of the invitation). I was not able to stamp the paper as the stamp is at my friend's house with all our favor boxes.

Looks good but 5 weeks out is a long time for you to request rsvps as most invitations do not go out till 6-8 weeks. I would change it to June 1st.

I disagree. We're having our RSVPs due a month ahead of time. It gives you more time to call if people don't respond and I also am doing plated dinners so I have to do the seating chart and escort cards

I also disagree on this. Mine are due a month before to track down everyone, let the caterers knows a week in advance, and give me time to make the escort cards after I plan where everyone will sit.

it is your choice i suppose but etiquette states differently. Most won't even know their plans that far out. I wish it were different but the way it is these days people are just last minute.

Plated dinners might be a different story.

Thanks for the feedback. The RSVP date is so early because I have to have the final count to the caterer by 6/1
