Flower Crown test-run

I'm wearing a flower crown for my wedding, which I will be making from fresh flowers. Yesterday, I did a test-run with some silk flowers, and loved the outcome! Can't wait to make more

If you're using real for the day of, do your test run with real flowers. Otherwise, it's not really a test. You might get a false sense of security by testing with silk..

Silk flowers are much easier to work with than real ones, they don't crush as easily, and they (obviously) do not have have the wilting issue that real ones do.

@southernbelle0915 Thanks for the tip! In all honesty, I was really testing to be sure this was the style I wanted/looked good on me--I will definitely test again with fresh flowers

Very pretty! I made one for my niece (flower girl) with silk flowers, and was pleasantly surprised how relatively easy it was to do.
