I am not a heel person and I'm brainstorming shoe options. Any of you ladies find some fabulous flats or low heels (1 inch or less) that you'd like to share?
I just went to 6pm, sorted by dress shoes, low heel, ivory/white color, and then price low to high. No one is really going to even see them, and they are comfortable.
@cgss11 I like those! I may be able to pull off something like that, but with a wider heel (walking on grass...), and my feet always tend to fall out of strappy sandals (really wide toe box and my little toe always managed to stick out at a funny angle). Closed toes tend to be safer.
I have finicky feet and I only ever wear clogs or sneakers or casual/sporty flats. I know that no one will see them but I feel like I'm "supposed" to wear something "fancy". Ugh. It's sort of stressing me out. I already own these two pairs (see picts below) and I really just want to wear one of them. Anyone wearing totally practical/casual shoes?!?! Make me feel like less of a weirdo, please!
I'm a heel-hater. I really can't stand wearing them, and I refuse to be miserable at my wedding! However, I feel a little slimmer when I have them on, so I'm opting for wedges. My bridesmaids and I will be wearing these:

I might be wearing running shoes. We are both runners and I had joked about wearing running shoes. Mostly because they are comfy, won't show anyway and it is fitting for us. Of course I refuse to tell my best friend because she will yell at me hahaha but to me it doesn't really matter when they don't show anyway. And our ceremony is on grass so I can't have heels anyway, just flats or wedges.
I like both of the ballet flats you posted BUT I thin they are somewhat similar to the ones you said you already own - at least the pink/peach ones. So unless you are looking to add another pair of ballet flats to your arsenal I'd go with the ones you already have if you want that kind of style.

So true... I have a tendency to gravitate toward the same shoes over and over again. They feel slightly more formal than the ballet flats I already have, but it's really a very small difference.
So happy to hear from all of you brides who aren't wearing 4 inch sparkly stilettos! (Not that I have anything against them, but personally I'd fall flat on my face and then have blisters all night long - not my idea of wedding fun)
If you don't mind ordering from overseas on Etsy. Here are the ones I bought. FYI you will need to give yourself two or three months an advance if youre planning on ordering these. It looks hundred times better in person, but the shoes are made of pearls.
We got married on a lawn so I went with comfy flats as well. It's this shoe but in a lighter blue that I think is discontinued. There's a hint of a blue shoe in some of my walking pics as my dress was more of a sheath style but for the most part you can't see my shoes in any of the pics.
I got these from 6pm.com for a bargain price! Super comfortable and go really well with my rosa Clara gown
I considered blue color shoes but ended up opting for a more "safe"/ classic look, even though I do love the colorful wedding shoes on other brides!
I will be wearing Toms wedges for the ceremony/pictures/first dance (FI is a foot taller than me!), then will be switching into these Toms flats for comfort:
They're a lot more of a dark gray than the gold that this picture suggests, but I'm okay with it. Both FI and I will be wearing Toms.
I wore fairly low heels and i hated them. I'm just not a heel person. So I switched to moccasins as soon as the ceremony was over and I was super happy about it.
The few people that noticed I had moccasins on loved them and thought they were an awesome thing to have on with a wedding dress. Whatever, my feet were comfy
I am wearing these Toms I fell in love with them on pinterest, so even though they don't have them on the Canadian Toms site and they won't ship them to Canada, I had them shipped to a friend in NC who then mailed them to me! They are amazing and so comfy and very true to my style since I wear toms all the time. Yay!

They're lovely! You're going to be sooooo comfortable!

I love, love this one - but heel a little too narrow for walking on grass, IMO:

Or... maybe some slightly more formal ballet flats with either sparkly embellishment or patent leather:
