  I just read that.  There are no words for that that kind of crazy.  

  
  

  I have two stories: 

  
  

  My dad's ex-gf sent a wedding card to my parents with an extra special note for my dad in it that basically said, "If this goes in the shitter, call me maybe?!"  

  
  

  My friend who's getting married on July 4th has had fun times with her FI's ex.  I guess she unfriended my friend on FB immediately and then sent a bunch of incoherent passive-aggressive (and aggressive-aggressive) texts to friend's FI (and started posting all sorts of vague shit on FB too).  Her FI's kids are in baseball now and so friend and ex see each other at practices and games. The ex told my friend that she unfriended her on FB 'for her' because she was worried about my friend being 'uncomfortable' or whatever.  Turns out that ex started dating this guy from a cell phone store (who helped my friend and her FI with their upgrades a week before the ex started dating him).

  My ex husband tries to weasel himself into my life occasionally via email. Only via email. Because of people like those in the article, and knowing my asshole ex, I blocked him on my phone, on FB, on all social media I can, and send his emails straight to spam. So I don't get why people stay friends with somewhat obvious bad ex partners.

  The only thing I ever had happen was 2 guys, both of whom I had really liked but after we went out a few times I thought they were still blaise about dating me, made a very firm point of telling DH when I introduced them, "This is Varuna's husband, this is my friend X" -- "Oh, we used to date".  Um, okay.  I don't know if they were trying to be territorial or what.

  My ex is on a very small social website that my FI and frequent. When I changed my relationship status to 'engaged' he started making fake profiles for girls, putting them in relationships with him, and posting in areas from his own and theirs that I would stumble upon by virtue of being a member of those groups.
  
  I find the whole thing hilarious, but decided to stop posting in those areas for the time being, lest he get the idea that I actually want contact with him.

  My ex reached out to me after running into a friend of mine who told him I had gotten engaged (this ex had proposed to me right at the end of our relationship and I said no). He gave the whole "Congratulations!" thing and then proceeded to tell me that he was married now and had twins, and then started reminiscing on times when we were still together.
