Peaseblossom55 - My allergies are horrible too (my bottom eye lid was all droopy and gross until my allergy meds kicked in). You'll do fine on your exam! We all have faith in you!

@Minskat30 - Nessie's ears right now look fine (I even stuck my nose by them to smell them - didn't smell anything). She is on Antibiotics and antifungals for a rash she has on her tummy (she went swimming in a mucky pond and doesn't let her tummy dry out after). I did order coconut oil to try to help her out - it's supposed to help with mites and infections. Your garden looks great - I love the Raj-plant the best though.

@jenjen047 I stay far away from the internet when it comes to wedding-related things lol. I can't even say that I've seriously looked at engagement rings even, the couple times I tried it I either got overwhelmed or bored lol. Besides, I don't wanna fall down THAT rabbit hole. I am pretty good about controlling that part of myself, like I said I am in less of a rush to get the ring than I am for time to just move faster. Fast forward two more years and THEN I'll be expecting it lol. Plus, like 5 of my friends got married last month, so I've been staying off Facebook as well because it just adds to the impatience. Le sigh.

@minskat30 Thanks, I know the joking needs to stop. Its much easier said than done because I have such a sarcastic personality lol almost everything that I say is a joke. But you're right, my feelings will get hurt (and have in the past, though it didn't last I am just kinda sensitive sometimes) and he doesn't want that and neither do I.

@Dignity100 - Hmmm, my first guess is always water stuck in the ear...though I suppose she would be shaking her head if that were the case. I hope she feels better soon. I like the Raj-plant the best too...except when it barks at 1 am, 4 am and 6 am (like last night).

Today is just... Wednesday. They're doing serious construction on our street - replacing the water main - and they were right outside our house this morning, starting work at like 530 am. It's been cool at night, so I didn't have the AC on, so it was SO LOUD. Ugh. I'm really hoping that they're past our house by the time I get home from work today.

I got my second Blue Apron delivery last night, and made Hoisin-Glazed Chicken Meatballs, and they were DELICIOUS.

Tonight, our friends are coming over for dinner, so we're going to grill some chicken, and have some veggies of some sort, with some booze, obviously. The other Blue Apron meals for the week are steak and cod, both of which I'm looking forward to!

@CocoBellaF - We're right on the edge of "total drowning by massive rainfall" and "just getting dumped on a lot". Who knows what will happen, but either way I'm sure we'll have flooding. Again.

@TwoDimes - If I could, I would send you ALL the exams. It's really not that bad, since I don't have all that many students this summer...it's just that I would rather be doing almost anything else.

@southernpeach89 - I had never heard of the pumping bustier, but that is brilliant! (Also, how awesome is it that you got a free pump?! Those things are pricey without insurance.)

@Dignity100 - Do it!! Zumba is AWESOME. :-)

Hello! Today I'm laying low and doing laundry before packing for our trip. Oh and going to the bank and getting out some money cause vacations are pricey. Although it's all inclusive, we want some cash if needed. I started reading a book on helpful self talk to hopefully help me frame my anxiety a bit better. We will see lol. I'm also reading an abundance of Katherines and while I'm only on chapter 5, I'm addicted! Managed to pick up 3 books for $3 at goodwill yesterday too for the plane (when electronic devices aren't allowed) and beach! While I was there, I realized baby clothes are SO cheap at goodwill. lol and then I told @southernpeach89 On Monday, I met our new principal at school. He seemed pretty nice but a lot nervous! I guess I would be too. I hope he isn't too nervous to reign in discipline at our school. We had people arrested on campus that came back several days later which seems a lot backwards to me. Obviously those students are a minority but they were disrupting the education of my other students! I'm slightly overprotective

I have a lot to do at work today, but the last two days were super busy and stressful, so I have no drive to do anything today.

@GoldenPenguin LOL I was just cleaning out my fridge last night and found some hoisin sauce, and I was like, "Man, I really need to find some more recipes that use hoisin..." and then you go and post the most scrumptious looking meal ever. Glad I didn't throw it out!

@Blue&White Great finds on the books! Just wanted to note that you can use electronic devices for the entire plane ride, so if you prefer to travel with your Kindle or iPad or whatever, you definitely can use it on the plane.

@CocoBellaF Apparently Al Roker was in Dallas today for the storm lol. I know Houston didn't really have much of anything happen, so hopefully we all have similar luck. It rained really hard this morning, but there's a break in the storms right now.

@caseface5 - They're from Ocean State Job Lot which apparently is a known thing in New England but was news to me 2 weeks ago. They are GREAT. There's a tub in the center for ice and it kept both drinks cold all day.

@Blue&White - That does seem backwards!! We love our principal and the Superintendent (who I work under) just put in that she is retiring next June, so he is going for the position and I am SO EXCITED! All the people who work for him love him. I hope yours turns out the same!!

@caseface5 Yea, our office has a designated breastfeeding room where the mom's can go and work and pump at the same time. It's not very large so maybe only 2-3 people can fit in there at once but as far as I know there is only one other mom in the office right now still pumping so it shouldn't be an issue to go use it.

@caseface5 - Yea, there are 2 in NJ but I had never heard of it (and nobody else down this way that I've asked has either). I heard about it through @buddysmom80! H and I went the weekend before our party and spent SO much money on so much good stuff!

@caseface5 - There are vegetarian options, and you can choose certain meals each week, and it asked if there was anything you didn't eat, like fish/red meat/etc. I actually changed one of our meals for next week because it was salmon and I don't like salmon very much (although the very first meal I made was salmon burgers and they were amazing).

@southernpeach89 that's awesome that you have a designated room at work. We don't have anything like that. There was someone pumping at work recently and she just had to go to whatever office was empty at the time. So where are people supposed to go if all the offices are full? And most of the offices have a long glass window right next to do the door so you can see in... it kind of makes me ragey that there is no designated place. I believe the law here is that if you have more than 50 employees that you need to have one and we have more employees than that.

@caseface5 @swazzle - OCEAN STATE JOB LOT IS THE SHIT!!!! i am obsessed. my mom is obsesed too and the first time BF met my mom she asked where he got the gift bag he used to give her her xmas present. when he said job lot im pretty sure her heart exploded.

@untouchablets - hmmmm i cant think of any new advice to give you then, except to try and be patient and when you feel yourself going BSC try to actively pull yourself out of it and talk yourself down.

@Lavenderfields13 If we didn't have a designated office, then I would just pump in my cubicle. If someone walks in on me pumping then it's their own problem if they feel strange about it. It makes me ragey that work places don't have places for breastfeeding moms to go to but I still feel like moms should be able to breastfeed where ever is most convenient to them no matter if that's in their office, outside, or where ever.

@southernpeach89 - Ugh! Don't get me started on offices not having a place for moms to breastfeed. I'm really lucky to have a door to my office (though no lock). Maybe I'll put a ribbon around the closed door when I'm pumping (sort of like that old college roommate trick when you "ahem" didn't want your roommate to disturb you...my co-workers are 90% male and they would probably think that is hilarious).

@GoldenPenguin - That looks delicious! I will let you have my puppy between the hours of midnight and 6 am any day of the week.

I swear he is training me for the lack of sleep I will get when we get KU....he has an expression on his face when he wakes me of "Oh good, your up now so I guess I can go back to sleep" and plops back down. After two or three times during the night I just point to the bedroom and he trots his sorry butt in there and falls to the floor with a "Sorry, not sorry" sigh. Good thing we love our pets!

@minskat30 HAHA! That's hilarious with the ribbon and such a good idea! I used to have an office at my old job which would have been perfect! Luckily my cubicle is tucked away in a corner and I usually don't get many visitors so hopefully I won't be disturbed if it comes to that.
