    WOW I just looked on the Hertz website and to book in advance a car was about £200, pay for it when you get there though and it was just under £1000. That is literally the most crazy thing I have seen :/

    Ah thanks for the above I have been using his website and have found it really helpful. I think I'm even going to add it to my wedding website in case anyone wants to hire a car whilst in the U.S. (I know a few people are going on to other places afterwards) :)
