What wedding favour?!

So I am from England and getting married 1st June 2016.

I am beginning to plan the decorations for the reception and I am stuck with the wedding favours.

There are around 30 guests all coming from England and I do not have any idea what is best.

Any UK brides have any ideas?

Re: What wedding favour?!

  • We gave our guests koozies and personalized playing cards.  Even four years later, I still see friends randomly using our koozies, so that one I think was a good option, the cards, not so much.

  • A koozie is something I'd actually keep and use.  Someone on the boards also did hangover kits which I think is brilliant.

We did a photo booth with multiple prints so guests got their photo strips that night, and casino playing cards (not personalized, just ones from the hotel we recommended).

Also if nothing speaks to you, feel free to skip favors.  They're optional, and while it's nice if you can find something that your group will enjoy no one gets to a wedding and is all "OMG where's my favor!?" so don't stress over it.
  • We didn't do favors per say but did do welcome bags with items people would use during their time like bandaids, vodka, emergen-c, cookies, chips, water, aspirin. People LOVED them :)

  • I like photo booths that print you a copy of your pics, or let you download them; we've been to several friends' weddings since ours that had that and it was a fun idea.  We took the funny pics and put them in our own photo albums.
