Question about the Society Room

My fiance and I are getting married there soon and we are planning on using the mezzanine level for our cocktail hour. I posted a question on the etiquette board yesterday about reserving the first table closest to the elevator for my dad, since he has trouble walking.

Someone mentioned having enough seats for everyone at the cocktail hour. I assumed that they would have enough and I was simply asking if it was ok to reserve a table in a specific spot. but NOW my question is for anyone who has been to a wedding at the Society Room or had their wedding there - do you remember if there was enough seating for everyone at the cocktail hour? We are having somewhere between 125 and 150 people.

I know there is another area we can put the cocktail hour, but I can't recall how large it is. My fiance would really like to use the balcony, so if at all possible, I'd like to keep it that way.

My daughter's reception was at the Society Room. There isn't seating for 125 on the mezzanine level, but the main dining area, lower level is open for the guests, so everyone will have a seat. My daughter set up escort cards on the mezzanine so the guests could find their tables right away if they wanted, some guests mingled at the bar and others sat on the mezzanine level.

I didn't see the other cocktail area, but the mezzanine is stunning. The staff at SR is adept at making guests comfortable. It should be fine.
