Who will walk me down the aisle?

Unfortunately my dad passed away two years ago and i'm getting married! I don't know yet who is going to walk me down the aisle because i don not have any brother.
Should i walk alone in sign of respect to my father, should i be escort by one of my fathers brother with whom i do not have a great relationship or should i choose my cousin (mother side) with whom i've got a great relationship?

Please help me

I would caution you about walking alone.  How high are your heels?  If you have an escort, then you have an arm to catch you if you make a misstep.  Otherwise, you could fall flat on your face on your walk down the aisle!  I have seen it happen.
I chose my uncle to escort me, since my father had dies.  My sister decided to walk with her groom.  You can choose anybody, including your mother.

  • Is your mother in your life? If you have a good relationship, why not her? It doesn't have to be a man.

And if you want to walk alone, that is fine too. Bridesmaids walk alone all the time and don't fall on their faces (usually, I'm sure it's happened).
