Fl license by mail?

Hi knotties.  I am getting DW planning - getting married in Orlando Florida.  I was wondering if anyone has obtain their marriage license by mail.  its supposed to save time.  does anyone know how legit is this?

    I would call up the County Clerks office for Orange County and ask them if this is possible rather then going through a third party website.

    FWIW, I am getting married in FL next month. I was told by our county clerk's office that the marriage license has to be done in person and both parties must be present.

    I know for NY it has to be done in person (IL too, where I'm from)  Every state is different but the two I mentioned had them being valid for 60 days after purchase but you did have to get it 24 hours before the ceremony.  Meaning if you get your license at 8:00 am on a Friday, you can't use it until 8:00 am on that Saturday.  

    This information was really easy to find for both NY and IL.  Online info and a phone call could clear up your states law!
