Morning and happy Friday! This is going to be long. Sorrynotsorry!

I had such a great birthday, guys! After work, I met H and we headed to The Hunger Games Exhibition in the city. It was really cool and I'll spare you all but one cheesy pic of me and H:

The costumes from the movies were there and there were some interactive things (like the big map in the first Hunger Games where you could research tracker jackers, for example), and some set recreations (they made one room feel like you were on the train that takes Katniss and Peeta to the Capitol).

After we were done, we met my aunt, my cousin, and my BFF for dinner at a fancy steakhouse. My meal was out of this world and there was soooo much red wine.

H and I agreed no birthday gifts this year (his birthday was last month) because we're going to South Africa at the end of August but he got me beautiful flowers and this incredible shirt:

YAY IT'S FRIDAY!

I'm working until 5 and then will sit in traffic trying to get home. I'll make dinner and then around 8 H, Lucy and I are heading down to my parent's house in Cape May for the weekend.

Tomorrow will be beach all day, dinner at night, and probably the boardwalk because I have to go at least once every year.

Sunday, we'll head home early-ish so I can get things done around the house, prep my lunches for next week and relax for a bit.

Good Morning everyone!

It seems that I've missed a lot, I couldn't log in yesterday because I was SO BUSY. I had to work in the AM, and then an hour after work I had to drive my roommate to the airport in RUSH HOUR TRAFFIC also bolstered by the fact that there was a Mets game and LaGuardia is RIGHT THERE. It took me over an hour to get home when it should have taken like 20-30 minutes. BF and I met for dinner and then came home and pretty much went to bed, but not before someone came and picked up my old dresser! It's gone! And so is my shitty TV, but tomorrow is TV day so I'll have to wait to do my happy dance.

This morning I am gonna hit the gym extra early and then race over to IKEA to pick up my new, shorter, classier dresser (by classier I mean all my furniture is finally gonna match :P). Then, my best friend and I are meeting at my house and WE ARE GOING TO SIX FLAGS!!!

We got Flash Passes so we are gonna ride the Kingda Ka A MILLION TIMES!! In the meantime BF is gonna roll his eyes at me from a distance because he's NOT invited! HA! (this is kinda payback for that time he didn't invite ME to go to six flags if you all remember that. hehe.)

I'm getting super frustrated with my potential event coordinator. She's been great the past 2 weeks, replying almost immediately and answering all of my questions in depth. I'm sure she just has been extra busy this week, but I requested a contract and have hardly heard back from her. She said that she would have a contract sent to me by the end of the day yesterday. I waited until 4:30 then called her, she was on the other line so I left a message with someone. I never got a call back, so I sent her an e-mail around 5:30 (she's normally there until 6). I'm really hoping to hear from her today, otherwise I'm going to really stress out over the weekend. She was checking on other dates for us, and I haven't heard any update since Tuesday. I just want to get this contract signed!!! *end rant*

@untouchablets traffic is the worst. Glad you are getting classy furniture haha. Also YAY for six flags! I wanna go!!!

@knockonwood5127 ugh your coordinator is stressing ME out haha. Hopefully you hear back today. Do you have backup options?

I went dress shopping yesterday! I will AW some pics when I'm not on mobile but as I'm sure most of you know from your own experience, the dresses don't all look great because they don't fit properly. I liked a lot of them and was also able to eliminate some styles, which is good for future shopping. I narrowed it down to 3 but we have appointments at 2 more shops this weekend so no decisions are being made until after that! One thing I was bummed about is that it feels like 80%+ of dresses are lace. I get that that's a big trend now but I wanted to see more options in other fabrics. Maybe other shops will have more choices.

Today FI and I go tour another venue and go to Mens Wearhouse to look at tuxes for him. I told him I'd take him to the driving range after that since it's right next to MW.

Saturday I head to my parents house to do laundry and go to 2 more bridal appointments. I will probably stay over there Saturday night since FI will be away for work.

@untouchablets - I haven't been to Six Flags in so long! I would not get on Kingda Ka, though. That one looks so scary! Pics of your dresses when you get it!

@knockonwood5127 - That is really frustrating and unprofessional. I would be super annoyed too. I hope you hear back ASAP!

@jenjen047 - We're gone for 10 days but 2 of those are basically traveling and lost because of the time difference. We'll be in Cape Town for 4 nights and on a safari for 3 nights. OMG LADY. You are STUNNING! I'm in love with the last dress. You look incredible!

@untouchablets Have fun at six flags!!! I haven't been in forever, DH isn't a huge fan of roller coasters but I'll take our baby when she is big enough and we will ride them together with her Aunt @labro .

@knockonwoods5127 Try not to stress too hard about this. I'm sure she will get you the contract here soon. She may have just had a busy day like you thought. If you don't hear from her by the end of today, I would give her another call or email and express to her your concerns.

@jenjen047 I love that last dress! I might be a little biased since I wore a ballgown lol but I think it's gorgeous! Good luck with the other salons.

Last night @labro couldn't come over so I taped up the nursery to prep for painting today. My mom and @labro are coming over tonight to get this started. I'm thinking we will probably have most of the room painted tonight and then finish it tomorrow and maybe get started on the bead board. I'll order pizza and we will just have a fun girl's night painting and eating lol.

Tomorrow morning I'll probably get up early and go for a walk. I'm not too sure when @labro and my mom are coming back over but Saturday is devoted to finishing up painting and bead board.

Sunday we are going to church with some friends and getting lunch afterwards. DH has to work tomorrow night so finishing touches on painting will probably be completed today. I'll make sure to AW our progress on Monday.

Last night H and I went into the city for our first corn hole game in the league that we joined with one of my friends. Through no help of my own, we won both our games! It was a lot of fun and I got DRUNK. Too drunk for a Thursday night. I'm feeling it today :-(

We also had a great talk as we walked the 15 blocks to our train. This week, we booked a trip to Charlotte, NC to go visit H's parents new home and to see his sister and her family. We've been talking about potentially moving down there for a while now, and I think this trip will help us decide if that's what we really want to do. Every time we've talked about it before, we've said "maybe in a year or two" or "maybe one day", but last night H told me he thinks that "now" is a good time for us to move if that's what we decide to do. (By "now", he meant "this winter".) I'm terrified and crazy excited all at once. I love NY and I am soooooo comfortable here now, but I also feel ready for a big change!

Last night, our photographer tagged us in a wedding photo and commented that she was "finishing up" our pictures, so I may FINALLY get them! I cannot wait to see all of them!

This weekend will be a busy one - tomorrow H is playing in a corn hole tournament with his friend, and I will be tagging along to watch and drink. Sunday morning I'm meeting my uncle in the city for brunch, and Sunday afternoon my little sister and her BF are coming over for dinner.

Just 7.45 hours of the hungover workday to go!

@jenjen047 I love all 3, but the 2nd is my favorite. It just looks amazing on you.

Tonight I might stop by the outlets, I need a new suit for work. Then its packing and house stuff pretty much all weekend. Tomorrow I'm going to a local winery for yoga and wine. Sounds like a perfect way to start the day. I'm going to start moving stuff into the house so once the bathroom is complete we can just relax.

@swazzle - How is 30+1day feeling? That's a cool pic and I love the necklace! I'm jealous of that Naked on the run palette and am also drooling over the TB bag. That's what I asked for (slightly different style) for my 40th!

@jenjen047 - Geez you're gorgeous! I definitely feel like the lace thing must have been the shop you were at. I felt like I tried on a lot of different dresses that didn't have any lace on them. Also, I feel like my dress would look amazing on you. I think you'd fill it out better on top than I did, and there's no lace to be seen on it. Front and back. Worth a look if you're willing to wear something second-hand! Out of curiousity, you don't have a venue yet but you're already looking at tuxes? That seems early to me.

@southernpeach89 - You've probably already thought of this, but is the paint a safe kind where it's okay for you to be around the fumes?

@hummingbird125 - AHHHH so exciting about Charlotte! I hope your trip gives you guys the clarity about the move that you need. Also, I'm a freaking pro at moving, so if you have any questions, ask away!

I went to see Book of Mormon last night and it was great! There were some things that were a little too raunchy for my taste, but overall the singing/acting/dancing was amazing and the show was hilarious!

Today I'm working from home. We have a tree guy coming to trim a tree and an a/c guy coming to check out our unit. I feel completely hungover, even though I haven't had a drink since Sunday. I'm on Day 5 of the 'no added sugar' thing, so I'm guessing this is what people were talking about when they said it sucks.

Tomorrow we got free tickets to go see the USMNT Gold Cup game against Cuba in Baltimore. My years working in soccer finally paid off

I think we might get a hotel there and stay in town after the game. Should be fun.

Sunday will be grocery shopping, laundry and relaxing. Maybe a trip to the pool, if the weather cooperates!

@untouchablets Six Flag New Jersey is THE SHIT! I brought BF there for his birthday a few years ago and we LOVED it. We have been talking about going back too!

Today is a half day for me! So I am going to go home and read HP like it's my job!! Tonight we are going to a bar on the water to celebrate my cousin's 21st. He BF is deployed so her parents are throwing her a little thing to make it feel more special since she is missing her BF. He is planning to surprise her with a FaceTime so it should be fun.

Tomorrow I have to clean the house and BF has to go try on his Tux for my cousin's wedding. Then tomorrow night we are going to a minor league baseball game with a bunch of my family so that should be fun too!

Sunday my Uncle and his Wife are coming over, along with my grandparents, dad and his BF, and my other uncle and his family for a little cookout and also to show my two uncles the house because they haven't seen it yet. Only really plan is BBQ and cold beer. I can't wait!!

@speakeasy14 - Yoga and wine sounds amazing! I'm actually been wanting to try yoga since I've started PiYo and it uses lots of yoga moves. Wine would make my attempt much more enjoyable.

@Hummingbird125 BF and I are toying with the idea of moving to either Charlotte or the outer banks someday too! My dad grew up in Charlotte so I have some roots there already and it's such a nice area. Good luck!

@cu97tiger - I felt the same way giving up gluten at first when I got the celiac diagnosis. Hungover and dizzy. Think of it as ridding your body of toxins if that helps...your body has to adjust to the new normal. Hugs.

@caseface5 - I'm still on the first HP book! I haven't gotten very far because of work/life...next week I'll devour them.

I couldn't log in yesterday...it was so freaking busy at work. Today will be a busy day too. Oh, and I'm expecting AF today so...yeah? Ugh. I've got to deal with our home inspector dude today and H's ticket (he got a speeding ticket a while back) and its mid-year review time. So much to do plus work.

Tonight I'm headed to my hometown to hang with my family. Its my mom's birthday and my nephew has a concert for his band so I'm going to do that. It will be fun. Saturday will be more hanging out and Sunday I'll be back home with H. He said he'll miss me this morning...so awwwwww.

Yay Friday!

Today I'm...going to the doctor

TMI: I've had diarrhea since Saturday and that's not okay with me. So I'm calling my doc in a bit to see if I can get a sick spot. If not I'm going to urgent care. Need a poop sample stat ugh

After that adventure I'm gonna do some homework for my class and watch tv and sit on the couch and hopefully not poop. Exciting. We might mow the grass this evening too.

Tomorrow H has class so it'll be a repeat of today. He gets home around 4 so we will definitely watch some baseball and hang out and maybe work around the house.

Sunday we will likely work around the house yay! And hopefully at some point I will get better lol

Exciting life I lead wow.

@TwoDimes Actually Dollywood isn't too bad of a drive. We would probably need to make a weekend trip out of it though. It's like a 4 hour drive.

@jenjen047 GL with the venue tour. Yes, lace is everywhere. I think every dress I tried on at Vows was lace except a satin one I tried on just for the hell of it. I was so sick of looking at lace when trying on dresses! You should check out BHLDN if you haven't already. I haven't looked at what they have recently since I'm no longer looking but they may have some different options...also maybe Nordstrom online..Jcrew..etc

OK now I see you added pics. I think I like the last one but the first one probably would look aamzing too if they clipped you in so it fit your body better.

@swazzle - Oh yea... I still cringe when I have to answer age '35-44'... it's only going to get worse next month when it turns into '40-49'. BARF

Today is FRIDAY. I don't get to leave quite as early today, but that's OK. I'll be off at 1:00 instead of 11:30. I have my thyroid bloodwork check-up at 1:30 and I've been feeling so great, I just know the results will be good. Yay!

Tonight is our anniversary and I'm planning to eat massive amounts of dessert and collapse in a sugar coma on the couch when we get home.

Going to the peach farm tomorrow with my mom, grandma, and great-aunt to pick peaches. Can't wait, I'll make myself sick on all the juicy peaches.

Tonight I plan on doing nothing but reading, watching Netflix, the usual. Oh and looking for apartments. H has his yearly training this week and he said because it's Friday he'll probably get out early so maybe he'll be home around 10pm instead of 11pm? I will try to stay awake to see him lol

My cousin has a big family party at her house every year and this year she's combining it with her son's HS graduation party. So I'm heading down the Cape for that tomorrow. I need something really easy to make and bring. I usually do a dessert. Any suggestions?

My sister will be staying over our cousin's house since she lives far away and has 2 younger kids so the drive sucks. Depending on how much I seem to be drinking I may see if I can crash there as well.

I called my H my FI and had to fix it. OMG I'm still not used to this lol
