My weekend wasn't too bad. Still not back to work yet, my goal is Friday. Friday night was nothing too exciting H had hockey I studied. Saturday we went to church and then to sleep # we have ordered a king sized sleep # bed. I'm pretty excited about it. H is calling today to schedule the delivery. Sunday I did a lot of studying, H had a hockey game.

Yesterday we went to out friend's house for some games and BBQ. It was fun distracting but as we were hanging out with our god daughter it made me sad for all of the things we will never get to do with Anneliese. I want to be pregnant again so badly. I didn't sleep well last night so I feel tired and I don't feel like studying but what else is new. I'm looking forward to our new bigger bed.

@jenna8984 That's awesome that your dad did all that yard work for you and the beach house sounds awesome! I'd be pretty pissed about the kids running around with food too! You are right- they need to respect your rules and your home.

I think if i had a treadmill I'd use it since I wouldn't even have to get out of my pajamas lol. I have nowhere to put one right now though.

@eilis1228 Yes, definitely do a seating chart! Just make sure with Etsy that you have plenty of time to get it shipped to you after you have your RSVPs in- I looked into that option and some of them were going to take forever. We actually ended doing our own and it was pretty easy besides figuring out the drama of who is going to sit with who- oh and my printer sucks.

@untouchablets My MIL has wanted a grandchild for years- way before we were even engaged. She definitely would not have minded if we got pregnant before getting engaged/married but we were not about that. When we got our cat H (not even FI at the time) told her we had a new addition to our family and you should have seen her eyes light up! Then she found out it wasn't a baby and you could see the let down. lol

@southernpeach89 - He's pretty precious, I won't lie. One of the greatest joys of the last couple of years has been watching him learn to explore things. I'm sorry Callie is being uncooperative. I will send her "get out of the womb" vibes! (I was born 2 weeks past my due date, and my Mom still reminds me of it to this day, if that makes you feel any better.)

Thanks everybody for all the good vibes for BF! We actually just got off the phone, which was totally unexpected--we aren't usually able to talk one the phone because the internet connection isn't strong enough over there. Definitely making my day improve.

I also got to use my favorite grading phrase today: "This is not a paper. This is a bunch of quotes strung together."

Another stupid busy week for me at work so this will be a post and run.

This weekend was so busy that all of the days just blurred together. H and I started replacing the steps on our deck (which we are going to sand and repaint), LITERALLY finally finished unpacking from when we moved in 6 months ago (which feels awesome), went to the zoo, hung out with my brother, and did a bunch of other things I can't even remember right now. I think I need a REAL break next weekend.

@swazzle - Welcome back, you were definitely missed!

@futuremrshistorian - It's the best when assignments are surprising good! A well-done paper is a million times easier/faster to grade than a bad one. I'm going to have to do marathon grading on Wednesday or Thursday and I'm not looking forward to it! Also ALL the job vibes for your BF!!

@TwoDimes - I love the Drive-In! I went all the time in Idaho but there isn't really a convenient one to go to here in Colorado so I haven't been in forever!

Hi everyone! I've been MIA lately because I've been crazy busy! I'm working two jobs now and have no computer time at either of them but it's so,so,so much better than that damn credit union! Getting back into teaching has been great, I love my job so much more and don't feel miserable every day! I'm also working for an organization that provides home-care for older individuals who need some help but don't want to move to assisted living. It's not my favorite but the people are nice and so is the extra money!

BF and I have been trying to fit in a lot of last minute camping trips. We were supposed to go camping this weekend but couldn't find a spot so we might try to go one more time in September but it depends on what the weather does. I'm for fall weather to get here! I'm sick of it being hot all the time!!

I've finally settled into a diet/exercise routine that I think I can stick to, I've been doing well the past couple a of weeks. I've been alternating between 30 Day Shred and Jillian Michaels Kickboxing workout on weekdays and just trying to be active on the weekends.

And my mom and I found a photographer we agree on! He's going to give us a discount and do 6 hours for $1000 and we will own all the rights to the photos. We met up with him a couple of weeks ago and really clicked so I'm super excited to work with him!

Oh, oh! And an accomplishment I'm very proud of: BF and I did a hike that has a fire tower at the top you can climb. But I'm terrified of heights and the stairs to the top go over stretches of horrifying nothingness so I've never made it to the top but last weekend I was determined to get to the top and I did! It was scary getting up there and I was on the verge of tears but I made it and it was totally worth it!

I'm trying to claw my way out of Starbucks' grasp right now, and the extra stuff I'm doing is making live at least tolerable right now lol. And props to powering through your fear of heights

Hi, I've missed you @bethsmiles! So glad your new jobs are working out and you're out of that awful credit union. That's awesome that you guys found a photog! Nice job with the workouts and climbing that tower. I don't think I could do that. I never really considered myself to be afraid heights - but when something is THAT high I think it's only normal to be freaked out!

Soooo my cruise that I depart this Sunday is currently moored in St. Thomas due to an engine room fire yesterday! I have been following threads on a cruise forum from people on-board and still no idea if those people will even get to finish their cruise or what is happening at this point. I hope it doesn't need significant repair and that my cruise next week isn't canceled, but it's very possible!

We don't know yet if we would take our scheduled flights to Puerto Rico and stay there a week, or just use our travel insurance and get the refund and reschedule a different vacation. Guess we'll cross that bridge once we find out if we're sailing or not.

Happy Tuesday, ladies! We had an interesting weekend. We went antique shopping with BF's brother and his fiancé on Saturday and it was fun. I found an awesome lamp and we may have also picked out a couch we will be ordering after our vacation. That night we had a bbq with them and BF's parents, but it ended with another huge blowout between BF and his brother. I'm really sick of that guy. Ugh.

On Sunday I got to see my little sister. We went shopping for clothes for our re-creation pictures, and we found some great stuff. I needed bright pink pants, which I found for 12 dollars at JC Penney and they are actually SO COMFY that I will be wearing them around the house for forever. BF's brother was going to take those photos for us, so hopefully they start talking again soon or I'll have to find someone else.

Yesterday I did some yardwork and then became a huge bum. We watched the new season of The League and finished up with Best of Will Ferrell from SNL. I did a ton of puzzles on my iPad and just feel really relaxed today.

@speakeasy14 Same here. It sounds bad but quite honestly I'm almost wishing that it's not repaired and I get my money back because now I'm a little scared to go. Luckily this happened while they were in port and not at sea but still- everyone was evacuated and they were just at the pool so they didn't have phone/ money/ ID with them. That's scary.

@AlPacina I wouldn't have gone to the theater to see it but that's because I HATE scary/horror movies . H LOVES movies like that. I wasn't even going to watch it with him but it wasn't like your typical horror movie so I kind of got in to it. It was weird but I thought it was good- original, and the music is really different so it gives it a really unique feel I think.

@jenna8984 Even my local news is reporting on your cruise ship LINK I hope it's fixed/cancelled quickly one way or another so you can make the appropriate plans. Personally, I'd still take the trip to San Juan and just find a nice hotel. San Juan looks beautiful, and you could definitely have a great vacation there!

@labro I hate the heat so the last few days forced me to book a weekend in NH for Columbus day weekend. I just want to escape to fall foliage and the mountains...

@lavenderfields13 Yeah, I don't know what that person was talking about but I've never had a problem returning/exchanging at Target. I'm glad you were able to get some new stuff to use!

@untouchablets I switched from android to iPhone (opposite of what you're saying) and I couldn't store apps on the memory card and that was annoying to me. But I can imagine it would be awesome if you needed it for photos/videos/whatever else.

@jenna8984 Oh no! Definitely follow that forum to see if you need to get your money back.

OMG it's been so long! I went back to full time teaching last week and it kicked my ass hard. With the heat and all of the sticky, sweaty and needy 11/12 year olds around, I was nonstop. None of my kids have cried yet, which is crazy to me. Someone always cries the first day or first week of middle school. Thankfully the long weekend allowed me to rest my brain and feet.

I spent the entire weekend with my H. We cleaned, shopped (too much) and tried a couple restaurants. There was a Portuguese festival going on, but we decided to skip it since I wasn't interested in people watching there. We did go to the beach on Sunday; but my H kept on asking when we could leave (he has a love/hate thing with the beach) and it was so annoying that we left after almost 2 hours. I usually spend a good chunk of the day at the beach when I go- I guess that's why I go by myself so often!

Monday was relaxing and trying to remember all of the kids' names. People are getting more creative with names each and every year.

Hopefully it slows down and I can chat on my preps during the day- I hate chiming in so late when everyone is gone
