You guys! We got our marriage license this morning! Woot! No turning back now!

I'm working from home today, hence the pajamas. My trainer is coming in an hour to kick my ass, and then I'll work my butt off for work stuffs afterwards. I am ready for the chaos of this week to pass... the beginning of the month is always busy, but this particular month is one of my busiest months of the year. SO MUCH TO DO!

Anywho, tonight we'll make the salmon dish I mentioned yesterday. FI was so tired he didn't even want dinner at all last night, so we did a fend for yourself night. I also have HC being delivered today (because I'm dumb and forgot to skip this week), so we will have tons of options...

I didn't sleep well at all last night because I had that dream where all your teeth fall out. So disturbing.

All right, time to get some work done before my trainer comes. Hope you all have a great Wednesday!

Yay Wednesday! This week is almost finally over. I went to dinner with my mom and some of her friends last night. Had a wonderful halibut that was part of the restaurants "Foodie Tuesday". Appetizer, dinner and dessert for $20.

1) What's the meaning behind your username? Its my first and middle name

2) What are you wearing today? Jeans, a blue with white pok-a-dots shirt and a cardigan and sandals.

3) What did you want to be when you grew up? It changed weekly haha.. I wanted to be a teacher, an underwater welder (I learned I don't like the ocean and I don't have steady hands), or a mechanical engineer.

4) How do you feel about breakfast for dinner? I think it is a great idea that happened often when I was growing up

5) If you had to give up chocolate or cheese forever, which would you give up? Cheese. I think I'd die without chocolate

6) Do you watch the Presidential debates? Yes I did. Interesting perspectives of all the candidates.

7) Would you prefer to wear jeans every day forever or dresses everyday forever? Jeans. I wear jeans to work almost everyday. Its great.

9) Favorite day of the week? Saturday. I have no schedule for that day

10) Favorite sport to watch and/or play? I love to watch football and NASCAR. As for playing sports, I have terrible hand-eye coordination so it normally ends with someone getting hurt.

Morning! You ladies are quite active today lol!

Not much going on here. I'm vastly irked my mum went to Le Nordik spa yesterday. A few years ago she got a spa gift certificate and I got the massage part because she didn't want a massage, but she went and got one. I'm irked because I've been wanting to go for awhile.

Oh well .... once I get my license I'll just drive there and treat myself.

Anyways .... tonight is my course again. We had a quiz on monday worth 20% of our grade {not an exam ...} and we should get it back tonight. I'm just hoping I passed. Whole coarse I need 70% to pass, but tests can be 50% .... I don't understand their marking system.

Side note: just did practice G1 test online, 93%

Danger was a made up last name my friend and I had in grade 9, mine stuck hers didn't. Kitty is typically what small children call me.

2) What are you wearing today?
charcoal dress pants and stripped shirt, and black flats.

3) What did you want to be when you grew up?
Writer, vet, marine biologist {really I just wanted to work with dolphins}, nurse for a bit, singer/songwriter

4) How do you feel about breakfast for dinner?
I am allllll about that.

I wouldn't. lmao If I had to, cheese. But I really couldn't.

When Obama was running, I did. As a Canadian, I have tried to watch the debates here but I just get mad at what Stephen Harper says and change the channel.

Dresses. Not a fan of jeans

Urg. Yes. Lol

Not sure. Thursdays probably. Close to the weekend, I usually get paid.

I'm not big on watching sports, but I enjoyed playing floor hockey in school. Despite being goals and getting whacked in the knee caps constantly. {I prevented many goals with that method lol}

Last night H and I had a plumber come over and look at our dishwasher. Apparently it has a leak, which is weird because it was working fine the last 6 months. But the good news is that we weren't the ones who caused the flood! I was so relieved because now we can take the issue to the manufacturer and get it fixed or get a new unit. I plan to check out consumer reports today to see if it's a common issue with that model.

@swazzle - That's so awesome! You are really kicking butt with those workouts!

@jenjen047 I've been referring to Rugrats a lot recently, because BF is Jewish, and my first exposure to anything Jewish was on Rugrats! @eilis1228 Ha I actually tried before to change my username to some version of strawberryfields but they were taken I think. Getting the marriage license is so exciting!

We got married in a different state than we live in and I kept worrying that we were doing something wrong and our marriage wouldn't be valid lol. Also - I don't know if all states are like this- if an actual judge (I think it was only judge) didn't officiate than you have to put that it's a religious ceremony on the license. That irrationally irritated me because we're not religious and didn't have a religious ceremony.

@minskat30 I bet you could easily translate that recipe into GF with GF pasta, subbing in corn starch instead of flour for a thickening agent. And leaving out the bread crumbs or doing GF bread crumbs if there is such a thing!

@wink0erin - For restaurants on the RW, I'd recommend Mi Tierra or Casa Rio. You have to get Mexican food! There's also a cool bar I like called Esquire where they make really great drinks and the bartenders are dressed up like in the "olden days". Check out the Alamo if you can, and we also have a really great zoo if you have the time for that.

@ChelleJayne - Yup. I went to a Catholic school for 1st-4th grades and I had a nun in 1st grade and for some bizarre reason in 2nd grade, I decided that's what I wanted to be when I grew up.

@swazzle that's ok, my brother and I used to put on shows in the front yard doing frisbees and dancing and cartwheels and we would issue "tickets" to my parents and grandparents. They couldn't sit on the front steps and watch without their ticket.

@beachyone15 your answer reminded me of my brother, when you said "not a lawyer like some of you crazy people". My brother used to tell everyone he wanted to be a dentist when he grew up. People would get confused since most little boys said sports star lol. (now he's a car salesman)

@minskat30 haha I do nothing related to law, I'm in marketing -- I was the bossy know-it-all as a kid (well still am), and everyone always said I'd make a good lawyer. Somewhere around age 8, I started agreeing and decided that was what I was going to do. I did go to law school, but had a really negative experience. Moved back home and had no idea what to do with my life since law was always the plan. I applied for every job I saw, and got really lucky with finding my current company.
