Beach wedding- high tide

Hi! I'm having my wedding on the beach in Duck in May. The time we wanted to have our ceremony is high tide. Does anyone know if there is usually still a lot of room on the beach at that time? Thanks so much!

    The beaches can be a bit narrower up in Duck, but high tide will not come all the way to the dune line.  Sit your chairs up closest to the dune line to avoid any rogue waves.  What time is your wedding?

    Thanks so much for your help!! At 5pm and it looks like high tide is predicted to be anytime from 5 to 520 :(

    If it helps, we had our ceremony at 4:30 and didn't have any problems. I wouldn't worry too much, I haven't really heard of anyone having the tide coming up too high. You could always ask your rental company their thoughts since they are more familiar with the homes and the tides.
