BM Problem

Re: BM Problem

  • You know what's funny / ironic?  BM can also stand for Bowel Movement.  So maybe the bride has a problem taking a shit .....

  • There's always lypsosuction, if she truly loved you she would get major surgery, am I right?

Liposuction can really only help most people lose 10-20 pounds at most.  This hippo needs to lose way more than that.  Clearly mandated bariatric surgery is the only way to go here.  OP, if your friend really supports you she'll totally subject herself to dangerous and life-changing surgery so that your day can be just PERFECT!
But in order to not hurt her feelings, frame it as you being worried about her health and fitting into the BM dress you chose is just an added benefit/motivation! She'll totally see what a kind, thoughtful, loving friend you are.
But wouldn't having a fat BM be a good thing?  I mean it will just make you look that much tinier and isn't that what all brides want?  To be the best looking one there?
A little chubby is fine (makes you look thinner) but a whale? Oh hell no. Don't you realize pictures are forever?!
OMFG, think of the Forever Pictures!!!!!!!

  • I like how trolly OP thinks that going from a size 16 to a size 5 would be considered losing "some" weight!  You played this to hard and too fast OP!
  • I feel so used.

  • Since when is size 5 even an option anyway?

Junior sizes are odd numbers, aren't they? It's been a long time since I bought anything in the junior section.

    Yup.

Actually, "Misses" sizes are odd numbers.  It means you can't have curves.  Size 6 is in between size 5 and 7 in size (-ish), but size six actually allows a person to have hips and an ass.  Whereas size 5 means you have to be a stick figure.

Nope. Misses sizes are even, as are "women's" sizes. Juniors are odd numbered. (I spent several years doing merchandising and retail clothing sales.) The size has nothing to do with curves (my size 0s can attest to that). The cut/fit varies between designers/brands as they use different standards... yet another reason sizing in women's clothes is completely fucked.

OFT: I am a 5/6 with the brands that allow for curves, and a 8/9 in the brands that don't. Same for when I was a size 0 in some, and 3 in others.. because my hips are wider than my waist, the brands that expect all woman to be a stick figure I have to go up in size for my hips, but can wear my true size in jeans that allow for curve..
