Is it Friday yet? Minus answering phones, I'm completely caught up at work for when I go on vacation. It's going to be a long few days.

Random stuff: I went to Famous Footwear and bought some cute Steven Madden sandals. Hand over my card, she asked for ID. I go to pull it out, ah it's missing. She wouldn't let me get the shoes. I had no cash. Thank god DH was close by and had to pay for me.
Apparently, I never took my license out of my carry-on bag when I returned from NYC 2.5 weeks ago. I've been driving all over the place without my license. Oops.
Oh and damn you Target. Went in for A bathmat, as in ONE, that was all. Ended up with 2 bathmats, new shower curtain, new shower curtain liner, cordless steam cleaner, baskets for DH crap in the bathroom and a bunch of other crap. At one point I found myself walking down the travel size aisle and just started throwing shit in my basket.
Why does Target just suck you in like that? The good news is I only hit up Target a few times a year.
What differentiates an average host and a great host is anticipating unexpressed needs and wants of their guests. Just because the want/need is not expressed, doesn't mean it wouldn't be appreciated.
Re: I have short-timers and other random stuff
I am in the can't stand my Job club as well, I am having a really hard time to keep motivated.. I really have to try to not yell at people, and I am typically patient and helpful, this place has made me in to a hateful person...

When I lived alone I used to get sucked into the Target random décor or houseware stuff, but since I've been with H the house isn't conducive to the random stuff (mostly because our two styles still haven't melted together so it is mostly his stuff and my random Target stuff doesn't go with it). Sometimes I miss those trips but then again I like my $$ !
I used to live 5 minutes from a Target and would go anytime we needed "something." But now that we moved, we are more like 15-20 minutes depending on the Target. So I don't go as much. We are actually saving money because we live farther away!
But I will say that when I needed to go to Target and get just 1 thing, I would not get a cart. You will most likely buy less if you can't just fill up a cart. That is one of the reasons BB&B employees are told to offer you a cart.
Well I was on some kind of retreat/vacation in this cool old castle. I thought you were @sarahufl, but then you started talking about something or other you did because of being catholic and I was like wait... that's @holyguacamole! Where has she been? lol
You would think I had been spending too much time on TK, but I actually hadn't checked in much at all!
I'm not sure! Shortly after I recognized @holyguacamole, I was trying to sketch the floor plan of the castle because we were supposed to go on some sort of scavenger hunt or something there and I thought that would be helpful. Then a man ran in saying he was having a stroke, please call 911, but my phone only had 908 on it, and it wouldn't dial, and then someone who didn't speak much English was the 908 operator and I didn't know the address of the castle/hotel.... So I woke up.
Oddly, I just got assigned today a project down at one of the monasteries on the Hudson river, so I wonder if it will look similar when I get there!
ETA: I did just look it up and I'm a little freaked out to go now, since there is an obvious Catholic connection, and there is some sort of treatment center on the property...!
So I went down there on Friday, and directly next to my project site was the "castle" - - I hightailed it out of there ASAP!!
Later that night, my dad took me to a murder mystery dinner theater, so that must be where the rest of the dream came in - CRAZY!!!!
