    Happy Tuesday!

    I'm glad Monday is over, even though it wasn't horrible! Last night I got home to my exam review books to reinstate my hairdressing license. I thumbed through those, made dinner and waited for H to get home. Needless to say I was a little too ambitious at the time to think I could get all of the studying done by the 21st (the day of the exam). Fingers crossed I pass!

    Tonight I have a wax and manicure appointment then leftovers for dinner and more studying.

    Favorite lip gloss? Any MAC Lip Glass (my favorite color is Prrrr)
     
    What is your "fall uniform"? Yoga pants and a hoodie.
     
    Post a picture of something on your wish-list. I'm too lazy to look for a picture, but a kid would be nice. Something probably more attainable would be another wedding band or some sort of nice jewelry
     
    What is your favorite popcorn flavor? @goldenpenguin's MOH made some awesome popcorn for her bachelorette party, and I would've eaten all of it plus more.
     
    How do you like to tie your scarves? Um, I just wear a scarf with my jacked when I'm cold, I just tie it in a knot in the front.

    @Swazzle - So glad that your doctor's appointment went well!!

    @buddysmom80 - I hear ya.  I hope you're KU by Christmas.  

    Last night was great.  I had to get my flu shot and Tdap after work, so that sucked.  But once I got home, I just cooked dinner, read my Kindle, worked out, took a bath, watched Netflix, and folded laundry.  

    Today and tomorrow are busy days at work.  We'll see how much I'm around.

    Favorite lip gloss?  I like chapstick (currently into YoungLiving's Cinnamint) and a clear gloss. 

    What is your "fall uniform"?  Sweater+scarf or cardi+shirt+scarf.  Tights and boots.

    Oh boy, I am a bit of a mess this morning. The commuter rail was completely wonky yesterday (the official cause was "because of leaves on the track" -- WHAT??!), so I ended up not being able to get a train for two hours after when I planned to leave. Which led to my coworker and I drinking quite a bit at the bar in the train station. I haven't been drinking much for months so it hit me pretty hard. I grabbed a huge slice of greasy pizza to sop up some of the alcohol, which made me feel better but I was still not super sober. Made it to my stop, and my neighbor, who I had been texting with, surprised me by coming to pick me up! She's the best. Not having to walk home in a semi-intoxicated state was lovely. 

    I chugged a ton of Gatorade and water and popped a vitamin, so I'm mostly hangover-free this morning but still sluggish for sure. No more alcohol for me for awhile. Woof. I'm very grateful I'm working from home today. 

    Also, last night's little binge session put me up on the scale this morning, but that's totally my own fault and it rarely happens, so I'm giving myself a break about that. Aaaand giving myself a break that I totally skipped my workout yesterday. Back on track today! 

    Favorite lip gloss?
    I don't usually wear lip gloss, because my hair always gets stuck in it and it sort of grosses me out. I do use a matte Tarte Lipsurgence if I want a bit of color. Normally I'm a Chapstick girl.

    What is your "fall uniform"?
    My favorite fall outfit is a pair of leggings, a tunic-length tank top under a buttoned cardigan, a scarf, and my puffer vest.

    FI surprised me by taking me out to dinner last night. We went to a Mexican/Irish place....sounds weird but perfect for us. Most dishes were one or the other so it wasn't a weird fusion or anything. It was pretty good. Afterwards I came home and went to bed. I woke up early this morning to run since running after work is impossible now.

    Our wedding invitations shipped yesterday and I decided on BM gifts. I'm getting them each one of these bracelets. My MOH will get rose gold, one BM will get yellow gold, another will get silver. I'm not sure about the fourth, but probably yellow gold. Im going to see about getting them engraved too. I wasn't planning to do matching gifts, but I saw this bracelet and I really think each girl will love it.

    @buddsymom80 - Everything is crossed that you do great on the exam! My adult dinner was the shit. We ate the whole bag and I was waiting for H to be like "seriously, this is dinner?" But he was 100% on board too. 

    @cocobellaf - Those candles look lovely! 

    @helloliv - I'm always SO jealous of anyone with the ability to WFH. I'm always good with food WHILE drinking but the next day is where I seriously struggle because I always want to eat all the things.

    @swazzle - That sounds like the perfect dinner. Glad whatever it is you have can be treated! Also, SWOON over those earrings! And yeah, a "perk" of still recovering from surgery is that I get to WFH two days a week. I legit can't handle five days a week in the office. Last time I tried to do a few days in a row I passed out at work, which was really fun, let me tell you. And yeah, I'm thinking that today might be a bit rough food-wise, because I already am feeling like I want to eat all the things and it's not even 9 AM. Uh oh. 

    @buddysmom80 - I am keeping everything crossed for babies for you! <3 

    @cocobellaf - Tell me more about crackling candles. I Googled it but I'm not sure that I get it. Does it make a crackling noise?

    @jenjen047 - I have to ask, is the restaurant Garcia Brogans? They just put one in right down the street of my house. It's pretty good!

    @helloliv - Yes!  It sounds like you have a fire going.  I also like Woodwick candles (they do the same thing).  I like to to burn them when I'm taking an epsom salt bath and just relaxxxxxxxx.

    @helloliv At least you didn't throw up on the train after drinking! Whenever I go to the city I take the train, and when I go for fun times and get drunk I have to practically be sober going home or else I'll get major motion sickness. It's not pretty and happens embarrassingly often lol.

    @jenjen047 that restaurant sounds awesome! I love places like that because you don't have to commit to one cuisine and BF and I never agree on where to eat lol

    No idea what is going on with my fonts...
    I am very tired today, not in a good mood either.  I feel down, and have since Sunday, I'm trying to break it.  Work is also super busy today.  :-/  I think H & I are meeting some friends for dinner, they are single and no kids so they thought it would be fun to hang out and have conversation where we didn't need to hear about kids.  I don't really care that kids or babies are ever mentioned but it should be fun.  I really want to sleep right now though.

    @CocoBellaF @helloliv Aren't those Woodwick candles?? They make a crackling noise when they burn because of the way the wick is made. They have the BEST scents!

    @Swazzle I'm SO glad your doctor's appointment went well yesterday and it isn't the worst diagnoses ever!

    @buddysmom80 Are you thinking about going back into hair styling? Or just renewing your license to do it as a side job?

    @jenjen047 Mexican AND Irish food? I am so confused...I wouldn't know what to order because then I'd have to choose between favorites!

    My day is ok. I stepped on the scale this morning and while it wasn't as bad as I thought, it still puts me at my pre-WW weight from a few years ago so I seriously need to get back on track again. I'm signing up for WW today and hopefully I'll start seeing progress again soon. We have termite guys coming by the house today. Back in 2007 our house had some termite problems. H and I thought the damage was fixed, but apparently it wasn't - they just got rid of the termites, so we're having an estimate today to repair the damage. We aren't sure how bad it is, but we suspect it affects the majority of the wall where our garage doors are. Ughhhh..

    Favorite lip gloss? I don't wear lip gloss. I do chapstick like Burt's Bees because of the tingly feeling!
    What is your "fall uniform"? Jeans, comfy 3/4 length sleeve shirt, boots, and a scarf.

    Last night was mainly exam review in my course. Came home and crashed basically.

    Tonight I'm getting photos printed for xmas gifts, getting my half of the PartyLite order from my mum, throwing laundry in and vacuuming.

    Over all ... hard to say. Prob a nude or sparkly. I'm not big on gloss though, especially in cold weather.

    For work I wear basically my legging dress pants. At home it's regular dress pants or pj pants

    Hahahaha! Totally cracking up. You're right, I'm very lucky I don't get motion sickness on the train. The bus or car, now that's a different story. Mostly I was lucky I got off on my correct stop!

    Morning!  I got my workout in this morning (missed yesterday).  My stomach feels like absolute crap but I'm trying to power through work.  My eating habits are pretty much "I eat what I can stomach" lately.  Yesterday's dinner was fries...yup, fries. Not healthy at all.   I'm hoping for a chicken salad tonight to make up for it.

    @swazzle - I'm glad the doctor's appointment went ok!

    @helloliv - I'm sure its water weight from the salt and alcohol combo...it will go back down.

    @labro - How did you like WW before?  I always thought about trying it but wasn't sure if it is compatible with celiac...I can't try it now obviously but maybe post-baby?  I know a lot of people who have success with it.

    -Anything that doesn't immediately dry my lips up again.  Burts Bees doesn't do the trick for me...I use a slightly medicated lip gloss because my lips are so freaking dry.

    -Hmmm, I don't really have one.  I still wear dresses all the time in fall with flats...I only switch to boots when there is snow on the ground.  ;)

    -Honestly, just a healthy Rajah.  His knee is hurting him and I actually had to give him some pain meds yesterday.  I was trying to avoid starting him on them since once you start on them, its hard to stop.  Poor guy.

    Morning! 

    So I went to Urgent Care after work yesterday - Not broken!! But it is pretty badly sprained, so I have to keep it wrapped, and ice a lot, and if it's not better by next week, I have to go to an orthopedist. 

    H made dinner (since I have to stay off my foot and all) and it was DELICIOUS. It was the HC Healthy Takeout Orange Chicken, and I couldn't get enough. 

    I snuggled on the couch with the pups - Bruschi loves to climb under the blanket with me - and we caught up on some DVR. Is anyone watching The Leftovers this season?? I need to discuss.

    @helloliv - I'm glad you had a fun night, and you aren't paying for it too much today ;)

    @swazzle - H is supposed to pick stuff up for Taco Tuesday, but I really want to tell him to just bring home pizza rolls instead. Can we please have some on Thursday - AKA TWO DAYS WHEN I GET TO SEE YOUR FACE AGAIN??

    @beanbot2002 - you're gonna be a wife in FOUR DAYS. Just thought I'd remind you.

    @cocobellaF & @labro - I LOVE those candles!! In our old apartment, we had a gas fireplace, so it didn't make any noise, and I loved to light those when it was going so it seemed more "authentic." That reminds me, I really need to schedule a chimney cleaning so we can actually use our fireplace this winter!

    @cu97tiger - I love that necklace. SWOON.

    Favorite lip gloss? I don't really do lip gloss. I use this 24/7.

    Now that I don't work in college sports, I need a grown up winter coat that doesn't have a logo on it!

    How do you like to tie your scarves? I really only wear scarves for warmth. Same as @swazzle, my boobs are too big, so I feel like I'm getting suffocated while also looking like a beached whale... with a scarf around it's neck.

    @wink0erin: Yes, it totally sneaked up on me! It was nice to have an impromptu fun night though. That doesn't happen that often. Also - I LOVE Prismacolor pencils. Those are on my list, too!!
