HELLO!!!!! I've missed you ladies (women) so much.

Today is my first day back at work and I'm trying really hard to hold it together. I feel like I'm about to throw up, I don't like being away from Callie at all. I'll be part time for the next four weeks transitioning back into my position. Callie is with a nanny for the next 13 months. Once she hits 16 months I'm either quitting my job and staying home with her full time or finding a part time job I can do from home. Our nanny only watches babies up until they hit 16 months and Sean and I don't want to pay crazy amounts of money each month for regular day care. It's just too expensive and I'd rather not spend my whole salary on day care.

Anyways, please update me on your lives!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've missed you all so much.

She is adorable!! I can see why it would be hard to go back to work.

FI and I picked a date awhile back and have most of our big stuff planned. Now counting down the days! We also got an apartment together (finally!) and are moving forward! I'm attempting to do WW and lose some weight since being diagnosed with PCOS.

I'm glad you're back! Even though I also wish you were home with Callie, but it just isn't the same without you around here too! I'm so glad you and your H have a plan in place for the next year with Callie!

Hi!!!!!! I've missed you SO FREAKING MUCH around these parts. I was really happy @labro kept us up to date with you and Callie. Callie is adorable, absolutely freaking adorable, as you know.

I'm sure your heart must be breaking to be away from her right now. I absolutely despise maternity leave in America. Hate, hate, hate.

All is well here, I'm almost 18 weeks along with my own LO...anatomy scan is next week Wednesday! Time flies. I'm really looking forward to seeing him or her again soon.

Hey, we missed you!! I'm surprised that a nanny costs less than daycare, I would assume since it's one on one care it would be a lot more. So that's wonderful that you found her for the next 13 months. My stupid work computer blocked the picture but I'm sure she's adorable!

Welcome back! I've missed you around here, but have been stalking all your Callie pictures! She's adorable! I don't blame you at all for not wanting to pay daycare prices.

Only exciting thing here is we are pretty much done with the home remodel, oh and my sister is pregnant. She's due in April and having a girl.

@minskat30 OMG 18 weeks! Are you finding out the sex during the anatomy scan?

@jenna8984 It's funny because her prices are about the same as some of the cheaper day cares in town but she is retired and really doesn't need the money. She is doing this out of pure love for babies. We figured Callie would get more attention with a nanny vs. a day care. She cares for another baby as well so Callie gets some socialization in there too. Congrats on your pregnancy!! 10 weeks! Almost near the end of the dreadful 1st trimester.

@speakeasy14 YAY!!!! That's so exciting for your sister! I hope she continues to have a healthy pregnancy.

@southernpeach89 - Absolo-freaking-lutely. I cannot wait to find out. Obviously, I'm just hoping for baby to be healthy but we are really curious if baby is a boy or girl. H and I are completely split on what we think...H thinks it is a girl (and is really hoping for a girl surprisingly...though he will be happy either way), I think it is a boy. As far as daycare costs, man do I feel you. Daycare in Wisconsin is one of the most expensive in the U.S. due to our strict regulations on licensing. The average I've found where we live thus far for something decent (not super fancy) is about $1,300 a month, which is insane. H's contract with work is almost up so we are still deciding what we want to do when baby comes. He may end up being a stay-at-home Dad for a while.

@southernpeach89 Aw that's great that she really loves doing it. The woman who watched me 30 years ago still runs a home day care and watches my nieces and I'd LOVE to use her. But I just moved 30 minutes from there, and my work is another 45 minutes in the other direction so that won't happen-boo!

@minskat30 It's funny, my entire life I have said I never wanted to find out the sex. But now that it's happening, I think I am going to find out as well! I just really don't see any benefits of waiting lol

@minskat30 I think finding out what we were having was one of the most exciting parts of being pregnant. I think if DH and I decide to have more than two kids then it might be interesting to wait to find out the sex. It would probably make me a crazy person but idk....we shall see.
