Happy New Year! All I've got is bragging about dinner on NYE, since H and I ate out:

Appetizer: Prosciutto-wrapped baked asparagus with hollandaise sauce
Entree: Sliced beef tenderloin topped with wild mushroom demi-glace, parmesan truffle mashed potatoes, green beans
Dessert: Brownie fudge cheesecake

@cocobellaf - I know everyone is different but I was sick pretty much non-stop (nausea all day, food aversions, etc. but no throwing up) from roughly week 8-14 then it eased up. I hope your end is in sight.

@minskat30 Ughhhhhhhhhh that color is horrible! Luckily the tile doesn't go up the walls....but it's all over the tub so that part will be kind of a pain. Luckily a lot of it is already cracked, I think they must have had a leak by the shower at some point....so the demo part will be easy....getting the glue off will suck though.

@minskat30 wow those are some lovely bathrooms. Suddenly mine don't seem so bad, but my bathroom has a blue tub toilet and tile, but it's tolerable for now.

@labro @speakeasy14 @Peaseblossom55 - I know, it took all of my will-power to say something nice about the bathroom when we saw it for the first time. Homes in my area go really, really fast though (one of the best school districts in the state) so you have to have "vision" with any house you buy around here.

My vision is "anything is better than this crap" (and rightfully so) so I think we'll be fine.

I'm back to work and don't feel like doing anything!!! Horrible, I know. I'm almost half way through the day, so I only have to use my teacher voice for a few more hours. I just want to go home and snuggle on the couch since it is cold and it was snowing this morning.

I finished Making a Murder last night and I am still thinking about it. I feel like I will be googling about Steven Avery when I get home. I'm scared to google him here at work- don't want to set off a gaggle report.

@minskat30 you weren't kidding about the pink bathroom!

@labro the house we rented in Virginia had pepto pink tile everywhere...with Victoria's Secret pink and hot pink stripes on the walls. BARF. Oh, and mood lighting (it had that wire lighting around the ceiling lol...it was awful

@Peaseblossom55 we have the awesome '80s (I swear it's 70s, but our house was built in 84...lol) brown toilet and brown WAY TOO SMALL bathtub (like when I take a bath, the water doesn't go over my boobs...lol)

My NYE was pretty low-key. FI and I stayed in and finally watched Jurassic World. The rest of the weekend was basically just as uneventful. We started watching The Man in the High Castle on Amazon and it's really good! I definitely suggest it to anyone who is looking for something new to watch.

I start classes again on Wednesday and I really hope this semester goes better than last semester. Not having an 8 AM class should help a lot.

My NYE was low key. We went to my Aunt and Uncles with my dad, his BF, and my little cousin. We played CAH and my dad got trashed. We left a little before midnight and made it home right in time for the ball to drop.

NY Day I woke up with a nasty head cold. I spent most of the day sleeping and was in bed for the night by 7. Saturday I did more but was still feeling shitty. Yesterday we finally got to cleaning the house and un-decorating. We also went shopping for a new couch again, but still didn't find anything.

I didn't really do a resolution this year.. but I am planning to get my budgeting and saving under control and also get healthier. I set up an automatic deposit into my savings account, opened a 403b, and started tracking in the WW app again so, so far so good! Hopefully I can keep on this track!

@caseface5 Your goals for the year sound a lot like mine. H and I are planning to amp up our savings and even though I started WW earlier this winter, I definitely plan to keep at it and work really hard at losing weight and exercising more.

@labro I started WW last spring/summer and I was doing really well with it. I lost about 20ish pounds. Then when cheer season started up, I was not home often and getting home late at night so it was harder to meal plan and keep a healthy lifestyle. I'm hoping I can get back into a routine and do better this time. Good luck!

@caseface5 Noooo ....I can't bear to look in to the faces of other local WWers. I just track online only. When I originally started I lost 20 lbs and then hit a plateau and quit tracking so I'm hoping to do better this time (especially considering I've since regained those 20 lbs).

@caseface5 @labro @GoldenPenguin - Mine is on Wednesday. I managed to do well so far even with the holidays (I broke even last week) so I'm hoping for the same this week!

The first time I did WW, I went to the meetings and I lost 26 pounds. Each time since then, I've done online only and I haven't been as successful. Hopefully this time is different!

So on NYE I found out I was pregnant. H & I were so incredibly happy. Today I find out I'm not pregnant anymore. Now we are moving on to IVF w/ PGD. Can I get a reset on 2016???
