printing invites

This may be a dumb question but bear with me.
I just got invites from Paper Depot (I love this place!). I need to get them printed but I am clueless. Do I just type up the invite text in Word and save it to a flash drive to bring in?

I too used the Paper Depot, but I am doing my printing at home.  However, if you call the Paper Depot they will give you a list of printers they suggest.  I loved the Paper Depot too....they are soooo great!

I'm thinking about using Paper Depot.  Can you give me a rough idea of how much your invites will cost each?? TIA! :)

My invites aren't as complicated as others, but my quote was $1.02/invite. With printing she said it would still be well under $2. I know I'm taking them to Postnet, which she recommended, I just don't know what the process is.

I used powerpoint to create each insert. Using the dimensions provided by Paper Depot (aren't they amazing?!?!), I then created text boxes in a word document and copy/pasted the powerpoint slide into that textbox. It wasn't the easiest process, but after some tweaks, it worked out just fine. I then saved everything I had along with a document that had instructions on how much of what to print for the printers on a flash drive. I had a .pdf and .doc of everything on there. It took some time to explain it all to the printers (note: Not postnet, as I live in chicago and don't have a car to drive to the nearest one), but once they got it, it was a breeze...literally, they had them all done and cut and boxed in less than 24 hours!!!
I didn't have photoshop at the time that I started making them (just got it recently to make a fancy photobook), but if you have it, that's an option as well.

I am happy to e-mail you my documents for reference if you'd like!
