@GoldenPenguin I've never hoped for dry air as much as I am now lol do you have netipot/hydra sense? {thing to run water through your nose/sinus} It helps fight dry air issues. My old apartment had dry air problems and until I figured out it was that, I would neti pot every night or morning and it would help

Confession - I totally get the feeling you had. Obviously first and foremost, a healthy baby is the most important, but beyond that I have always just imagined myself with a daughter and most especially a daughter for my first child.

@swazzle People are so fucked up. You are gorgeous. Your hair is gorgeous! Your body is the FURTHEST thing from a pregnant woman's body and people are stupid.

@southernpeach89 YOU had better share Callie's giggles with me FIRST before anyone else on here gets to hear them!!!!

@untouchablets I love it when puppies leap around like they are deer! I laugh hysterically every time!

My morning has been super busy today and this is my first opportunity to come chat! I can't wait to get through the slew of meetings I have because after work I'm going to the paint and drink place with my mom to go paint that gorgeous cardinal painting I shared with you guys! I'm so glad I get to spend this time with my mom and have a mommy/daughter date but it bums me out sooo much that all of my truly close friends have all moved from the area and I don't really have girlfriends left near me that I actually want to spend time with.

But anyway, only 6 more hours until it's time to leave to paint and drink some wine!!!

@peaseblossom55 If you think about it, you only have a 20% chance of getting pregnant each month in perfect circumstances anyway so 15 to 20% sounds like great odds to me! I'm keeping everything I have crossed for you that IVF is successful and you'll have a happy and healthy baby (or babies! who knows!!) in your arms before you know it!

@GoldenPenguin I completely agree lol however they're best thing for me so far. I'm not big on the gravity thing with water, especially when I'm completely stuffed up. Hydra Sense forces the water through and that does make it faster

@labro - I can't wait to see your picture! I'm also glad someone can relate to my desire for a girl. It has always been stuck in my head since I was fairly young that my first kiddo would be a girl. If I lived near you, I would totally be your drinking (well post-baby)/painting/home improvement project buddy. I feel you on not having close friends nearby. Most of my really close friends are spread out throughout the country.

@labro Thank you hearing the positive words and vibes from others is really boosting my morale. I think it was the initial shock that has made me a bit down, I know that will wear off as time sets in and I get more into the process. They are only implanting 1embryo so it could only be 1! Thank goodness :-)

@peaseblossom Oh that's great!! Funny?? story I guess. My parent's neighbors did IVF probably....7 years ago now. They opted to implant 2 embryos because they knew they wanted 2 kids and didn't want to go through the process again. Anyway, one of the embryos split after implantation so rather than twins they ended up with triplets!! 2 identical boys and a 3rd fraternal boy!

Oh! Did anyone else watch the State of the Union last night? What are your thoughts?

Did you watch the Republican response? What are your feelings on Nikki Haley. I actually really like her and I think she was a smart choice for the Rep. Party. However, she talks kind of odd....her teeth don't move but her lips do....and it really threw me off!!

I literally go home every night, sit on the couch with my husband, and talk to my best friends on my phone. Sometimes we hang out with ONE couple here.

I had a great night last night. I ended up picking up Indian food, which I have been craving for FOREVER, and I got some extra so I'd have food for today. Lamb biryani for breakfast? YES PLEASE. Although now my breath is freaking awful and I'll have to wander around looking for someone with gum.

I also watched the original Point Break for the first time. Omg, Patrick Swayze. You were freaking hot..... I also don't think I had ever seen Gary Busey act before. I've only ever seen him on reality shows, which all took place after the brain damage.

I was half an hour late to work today because I could not stop lip syncing in the mirror.
