I just got off the phone with the vet and Stevie did great!! They were able to stitch the wound closed, which means no daily bandage change, which is awesome. He'll get to go home by 5 today.

@AuroraRose41 Both are great areas! My favorite restaurant on the island is Gaylord's at Kilohana. It's so good!

@AuroraRose41 You definitely should! The last time I went to the island was 2009, but I just looked up reviews, and it's still really highly rated. I'm so jealous of your trip. Kauai is amazing.

@jenna8984 @lavenderfields13 - I had NO idea we had storms last night! I took a sleeping pill and I guess it did the trick. Also @jenna8984 - That's really scary about the CO, glad everything is OK. Also a major bummer about going into work for nothing, but a free day off sounds awesome!

@cocobellaf - Sorry to hear about the spotting!! How long are you on bed rest for? We will do our best to keep you entertained.

My dogs name is Lacey. No reason except I like the sound of L's and I think it's an adorable name. Pics below of the day I brought her home (with my ex in the background). She was only 3 lbs (compared to 8 now haha).

Ralphie: Rabbit

I named him after Ralphie from A Christmas Story due to the rabbit suit he wore in the movie. It took a few days to name him, and BF was in no way helpful. He sometimes calls him "Ralphondo" for some reason, and it is super annoying.

Loki: Keeshond

Loki is my roommate's dog but kinda mine too, and I met him when he was 7 months old. Here is us sharing an ice cream:

My roommate named him after the god, not the Marvel character lol. Keeshonds are a Nordic breed so she wanted to give him a Nordicish name. Which brings me to....

Gunnar: Keeshond

Here he is at 10 weeks old! We wanted to keep the Keeshonds in a theme since they are half-brothers. It's a Scandinavian name, which means warrior but he's actually pretty wimpy lol.

Amber: Princess/Cat

This is her at about 14 weeks! I named her Amber because her eyes were the same color as her fur, which reminded me of the amber with the mosquitoes they got DNA from in Jurassic Park.

Coraline: Standard Poodle

I named her after Coraline the movie/Neil Gaiman book about a young adventurous girl who finds a mysterious, creepy world where everything is almost the same and ends up saving her parents. I wanted to name her after a strong female character, and she was the only black puppy in her litter so I wanted it to be dark/magicy. Others on the list were Matilda and Elphaba, but Coraline stuck
