Any ideas for a venue for about 150 guests, $100/person in central CT? We are hoping to do the ceremony and reception in the same place, and would like to be within walking distance of a hotel/inn. We saw The North House over the weekend (formerly Belle Terrace) and loved it and are looking into Simsbury Inn - just looking for some other ideas! Avon Old Farms Hotel is a bit too small.

    Central CT...what about Pond House Cafe at Elizabeth Park in West Hartford?

    Trying to pull up my list...I am in central CT but 60 guests so a lot of the ones that had 100 minimums were out for me. I was also on a bit more of a budget. What about Heritage Hotel, Bill Miller's Castle (not really central but wicked nice), or a little farther north Interlaken Inn?

    TheKnot also has a concierge venue service which is helpful. I had actually asked one of their experts (Jen) about the Simsbury Inn and she mentioned the Simsbury 1820 House and that's where I'm getting married!
