About 4 months ago, a good friend of ours had discovered he had testicular cancer while on his honeymoon, and when the doctors discovered that, they also found lung cancer. After a lot of radiation and chemo, the docs did a CAT scan to confirm that he was cancer free, which thankfully he was (in those areas). However, since they'd not done a CAT scan of his head, they didn't catch the brain cancer that he also had. We're hoping that it is at least treatable. At 21 years old, he, his new wife, and his family are understandable devastated.
