What would you like to hear about? Weddings of the past that include hospitals or one that is happening next weekend that looks like an up and coming train wreck?

Haha ok. I'll start with the weddings from the past:
At my parent's wedding, the Best Man fainted 3 times during the ceremony and left on a gurney. When he fell the first time, my dad thought his ex wife shot him and you can hear on the wedding video my mom saying "Ah shit!" My mom and dad has to fight the paramedics down the aisle. If my mom sent in the wedding video to America's Funniest Home Videos, she would have won the grand prize.
At my sister's wedding, my BIL left in an ambulance because he had an acid reflux attack. He thought he was having a heart attack. He actually did the garter toss from the gurney. The WP continued the reception in the parking lot of the hospital. My sister didn't get her dream wedding night because my BIL was so drugged up.
At my brother's wedding, my SIL's brother passed out mid-ceremony because he locked his knees while standing there (it was an outdoor wedding, in September in San Diego). So the paramedics showed up after the ceremony and took a look at him, he just got over heated. He made it in to the pictures (but he was rather pale).
The wedding next week:
Well one of the ladies I play Bunco with, C, was telling me about her step-daughter getting married next weekend, as in the Saturday before Easter. When she told me the plans, my jaw dropped to the floor. This is what she told me:
Her step-daughter is 50+ and this is her 3rd wedding.
In her invitation, she asked for money for their honeyfund, but said that gifts would be accepted.
The wedding is taking place in a yoga studio
The "reception" consists of enough cake for 2 people.
Everyone has to be gone by 2:30 so that the bride and groom can leave for their honeymoon and make it in time for their dinner reservations.
Their honeymoon is 1 night at The Madonna Inn in Pismo Beach. It is about 3-4 hours from where the wedding is taking place.
The bride told her father that she would like him to walk her down the aisle and asked him to wear gray pants and a blue shirt. She doesn't care what shade of gray and blue.
The bride's son decided not to come because he lives in Oregon and doesn't see a reason to fly down for just a couple hours.
I told C that what her step-daughter is doing is VERY rude on multiple levels. She agreed. She then joked that her winnings for the night were going to be the wedding gift. She won $5.
When I talk to her after the wedding, I'll update you.
@ChelleJayneoh my goodness!!!!! Thats so wild so much has happened to you and your family at weddings! Hope everything is alright health-wise now with all members of your fam! Would love to be kept in the loop about C's step-daughter's wedding, sounds so rude

Everything is fine now haha.. Yeah I'm hoping that my wedding goes off without a hitch because you know how things come in 3's? Well we have had the 3 weddings. Sooooo, maybe? haha
I had a friend that got married a few years ago and the groom had his bachelor party the night before. Ended up in the ED with a huge laceration to his foot from a boat propeller. Walked down the aisle with a pimpin' cane and +++pain.
Went to a wedding where I felt like I was back in high school. Was at a table with a girl we all went to HS with, when we saw a girl get asked to leave the wedding. She was sent an invitation prior to the bride finding out that she had been tweeking. The girl I was sitting at a table with filled me all the juicy gossip how the bride asked her not to come and she showed up anyway so the poor mob had to ask her to leave. She took her time, double fisted some free drinks before making her exit...and yes she was clearly high while she was there.

I will let you know how that wedding goes.
I'm bringing that up if I ever see someone wanting live animals as decoration again.
Here's just one thread from the Snarky board alone:

OMG. The final story. I PRAY she didn't try to resell that wedding dress.
