@minskat30 No but it's contingent again so I'm really hoping it sells. They dropped their asking price by $5k which isn't terrible and it makes me think they have a really strong justification for the price!

I'm so jealous of everyone that gets tomorrow off, or even a half day. I was supposed to know this morning if I have this big thing to prepare for at work tomorrow and STILL don't know, so my entire day today and tomorrow are up in the air until I find that out. And I have a dentist appointment today, those are never pleasant.

Last night I went to the Purim thing at BF's synagogue, it was a lot of fun! I had no idea what was going on half the time though.

@labro - I am laughing SO HARD at that photo. It just improved my mood substantially.

@minskat30 - "Lead" might be too strong a word. There are a bunch of open positions in the States (mostly in the DC area), but there are also some things going on right now with his current contract that would make it difficult for him to leave, at least before June or July. He's applying around, so we'll see what happens. (When I say "a lot of open positions," I really mean it--we've found 125 listings that he's qualified for in the last week. Companies tend to get their new contracts around the end of the old or the beginning of the new fiscal year, so, for federal government contracts, that means the summer is a good time to be applying for new stuff.)

Today is NOT my Friday. However, it is mine and H's 4th anniversary. I have our pic all ready to take tonight (see my signature). I think after this year, we'll just take them every five years. The wedding pic is so small you can't even tell what it is anymore! We're going to happy hour with a couple of his work friends and their wives, so that should be fun.

Another busy day of work ahead....GRRR I miss you ladies!

@wink0erin - Thank you. Blech, the dentist is never fun. I'm avoiding the dentist until this little girl makes her appearance because I don't want to do the dentist without pain meds. Actually, that is hilarious when I think on it...I'm not as concerned about the pain of labor as I am about the dentist and that makes zero sense.

@wink0erin I don't get Purim either. The company I work for is Israeli based so my boss always shows me photos from the parties she goes to. It looks like a lot of fun at least!

PS I had a Honey Latte thing this morning and it was NOMS! I also went with the extra shot like @AlPacina recommended.

@cu97tiger Happy 4th Anniversary!!! I'm training for a half in May! It will be my 2nd race (I've trained for 3, but last year I got sick the weekend of the half and couldn't run - biggest let down ever).

Last night H and I went for a walk and then we didn't feel like cooking so we went to Chili's for dinner. Came home, watched Survivor, and went to bed. Even though I have another day to go, I'm excited for the weekend. H is off tomorrow so he's going to start working on gutting the front flower beds so we can plant some pretty things this weekend! Then on Sunday we are going to church and having Easter lunch at my parent's house. My dad makes the best honey-mustard sauce for the ham!

@swazzle - I seriously believed you for a minute. Then I realized it's only Thursday

@caseface5 - I can't wait to see Batman v. Superman! And I have a cousin named Hannah - it's a good name!
@jenna8984 - HAHAHA! Which side of the penny was up? Was it good luck?

@CocoBellaF- I'm sorry you are feeling anxious. I think as long as you can follow doctor's orders as closely as possible, the less anxious you'll feel.

@CocoBellaF Oh I'm very annoyed. Not enough to take her out though and put her somewhere else when I'll be home with her within the year. That would just be a waste of money. Honestly though...last night wasn't the nanny's fault lol. Callie was cranky so I'm not annoyed about that. It's just something we all have to work through to get her back on her normal schedule.

@cocobellaf I know it's been a difficult pregnancy, but just focus on the positives and things you can control for baby K. My brother was a severe preemie. He's now 22 years old and perfectly healthy. The technology that exists today is far superior from when he was born.

So last night we went out for a fancy dinner. We had lobster sliders, beet salad, lobster bisque, and bolognese for dinner. My bf wasn't feeling great so he wanted something spicy to clear up his head. The drink he got was a bloody mary with sriracha combined with a dirty martini. I got wine. We still have money left on the gift card so will probably be going back sometime soon.

After dinner my bf dropped me off at a bridal shop that was near my office. They didn't have the exact dress we were looking for, but I tried on ones that were a similar style and sent a ton of pictures to the bride. This is the dress I decided on:

After I was done dress shopping my youngest sister picked me up. Her bf recently got a new car so he is loaning me his old car until I am able to replace mine. It's nothing great, but at least I'm not depending on rides anymore. Tomorrow we may go for a hike. Saturday will be errands and baking day. Sunday we're having breakfast with my bf's grandparents, spending the day with his extended family, and then having dinner with my family.

It's my Friday too, and this week has been a cluster, so the day off is MUCH needed. Work is insane right now, and morale is low. Layoffs began yesterday, and my department was affected. My work load will increase about 50% next month, and I have a strong suspicion my pay will be cut. We have a big meeting next Tuesday, and it's been heavily hinted that we will not be happy with the news.

Last night I was very stressed out due to work stuff and some personal stuff, so H brought home Whataburger, opened a bottle of wine for me, and took care of all Zoey related things. I worked on a baby quilt for one of my cousins and pigged out while watching The Office. It was really nice.

This pic sums up last night pretty accurately:

Late last night around 10 a huuuuuuuge storm came through. The tornado sirens went off because the wind was so strong (60 mph), and we had golf ball sized hail. It looked like it had snowed because there was so much hail on the ground. We grabbed Zoey and stood on the covered balcony and watched. It was crazy!

Anywho, tonight we're going to go on a run, and then I'll go to the gym to lift for a bit. We'll have leftover turkey pot pie for dinner, and then we'll do basic chores so that tomorrow we can finish decorating and setting up the apartment. I'm hosting about 12 people for Easter lunch on Sunday, so I need to deep clean the apartment this weekend to make it presentable.

This post was longer than I thought it would be... I'll respond to everyone separately to keep this post from becoming even longer.

@cu97tiger Happy Anniversary! Yes, she was torn between that color or black and after I sent her pictures of both she said definitely the champagne. Compared to an ivory wedding gown it looks gold.

@cu97tiger Ugh, isn't it just the worst? At least I was in shape - I definitely wouldn't have run as much had I not been training. This May I'm doing a race called the Twin Lights Half in Gloucester, MA. It's the first time I'm doing this course but the town is on the ocean so I'm sure it will be really pretty! How about you?

@eilis1228 your event sounds perfect and contained all of my favorite things! Wine, chocolate, sewing and the office? Amazing. That storm sounds intense.. I don't know about you but watching crazy storms like that is always so oddly peaceful to me as long as I'm in a safe place.
