Morning!

The person I know on Survivor won! My "party" was great, the food was delicious, and we had a fun time

I am tired AF today, though. It wasn't over until 11 so I didn't finally go to bed until midnight. That 5am alarm went off WAY too quickly.

Tonight I'm going out with my coworkers and I'm hoping H wants to come pick me up and then we'll go to Bon Chon for dinner because Korean fried chicken is goddamn amazing and I need it in my life.

OH I forgot the best part of my day so far.

I wanted to be cute today but it's not quite warm enough for a dress just yet so I wore my navy skinnies with this SF top (hint: that's not me):

And my favorite tan wedges. I felt so great when I left the house!

I parked at the train station, got out of my car, and was walking through the parking lot when my ankle rolled and I went down HARD. I managed to NOT hit my face for once but my knee is bruised and aches. It wasn't bad when it happened but I'm definitely feeling it now.

Miraculously, my pants did not rip and nobody was around to see my fall so my ego is still mostly unharmed.

But seriously. What the actual fuck feet? I packed my Birks in case I was uncomfortable later so I'm wearing those now since they're safer. (I say that but when I fell and tore a ligament in my ankle and was in a boot for ages, I was wearing flip flops.)

@Swazzle That's nuts!! So cool that she won!

Last night I had every intention of going to the gym. I got dressed and sat quick to eat a cucumber.. and then got wrapped up in Jurassic World and didn't go to the gym.

I had weigh in this morning and I lost a little bit, but I have been playing around with the same pound (+/- the same pound) for 7 weeks. One of those 7 I jumped to down 3 pounds, but then gained it right back. I need to break this plateau, hopefully soon. My aunt who goes to meetings says it's good because I am maintaining and not gaining so that's good. She has been doing the same thing since November so I hope I don't go that long!

@Swazzle Your night sounded so fun! Enjoy Bon Chon tonight! Hopefully they build one closer to ATL so I can try it! I'm glad you're ok after your fall, I hate it when that happens especially when you're wearing cute shoes that probably caused the fall.

@lizzytish88 Keep working at it! Those plateaus are the worst but you will break through it. You're doing great!

Last night I FINALLY got to go to CrossFit and I'm sore this morning. We did Overhead squats and running. I'm really feeling it in my legs. We had dinner and finally got to watch GoT because our internet was fixed yesterday afternoon. Unfortunately though when we were getting our drainage fixed, our internet cable was cut so Comcast has to go in and dig up more of yard and install a new line. Our yard is trying to recover from all the drainage pipes being installed and now this. Hopefully HOA stays away from our house lol.

Tonight I plan to go workout again and we are having tacos! I need to run to Costco today and also get some cleaning done. Today is my Friday since I'm taking tomorrow off.

Friday I'm volunteering at DH's school for day of service. We are going to a food pantry and packaging food and sorting it. Then afterwards we are going to my parent's house for a bbq with @labro 's in laws.

Saturday we are taking Callie and Maddux to a dog festival at a local church. They are benefiting the humane society and police dog training. They are going to have competitions for the dogs and just fun things for them to do. It should be fun.

Sunday I have a play date with some ladies from my bmb. We are going to the park and letting the babies crawl around and play in the park.

@LizzyTish88 I was going to run last night too and didn't. I feel blah about it today but it felt nice to relax last night!

Last night H had a stomach ache - he's been on and off sick all week with various things and I feel so bad for him. I'm hoping he makes an appointment with a doctor, he's overdue for a physical anyway and can talk to them about it.

Anyway we had a low-key night in. Tonight is our last BA meal of the week and I have to do laundry and pack - We're headed down to NJ for the weekend for my FSIL's bridal shower - H's brother is getting married in July!

Well we decided to stick out that class we signed up for. Last night's was 100 times better! It was all about breastfeeding and I learned SO much that I had no clue about. So some of the 12 weeks might be a little slow or boring but I think overall we're going to gain a lot from sticking it out. I am sooooooo tired though, just slept terrible- peed 3 times, kicked the cat about 8 times, kept getting stomach aches and leg cramps.

H is going to his parents tonight so I'll be alone and a I'm making chicken, cheese, pesto, zucchini Panini mmmmm

@swazzle - Falling sucks. I'm pretty good at it, so I know the feeling. Glad you didn't rip your pants. That top is really cute!

@southernpeach89 - I'm right there with you on being sore. We did pistols on Tuesday, then thrusters yesterday, and it seriously hurts to sit down, or walk, or basically do anything with my legs.

@flygirlmeg sent me the sweetest necklace. It made me cry and remind me how many amazing friends NEY has brought into my life. You all are the best, seriously.

Last night I fell asleep listening to my IVF meditation podcast. I woke up at 9:15, took out my contacts, went back to sleep around 10, woke up at 10:55 to give myself a shot, fell back asleep around midnight, and woke up for good at 4:30. This is going to be a LONG day without caffeine. Ugh.

I'm leaving work at 1 to go home and finish packing. I'll check emails and jump on a couple calls, but I'm done at 4p and we'll be driving to Syracuse. Appointment for egg retrieval is at 9:30 tomorrow morning... WOOT.

@lizzytish88 - Stick it out! Plateaus are stupid frustrating, but you can absolutely make it through!

Morning everybody! It's a quiet morning here so far...I'm working from home again today because...well, to be honest, because I don't feel like driving the 20 minutes to the office, and I don't have any classes to teach, so it's just as easy for me to work on research plans from home!

Yesterday was quiet. They came to replace my windshield--luckily it didn't rain while they were here. I went to yoga and came home and watched a bit of the Thunder game (but turned it off before I could see them lose).

Today is going to be quiet too. They're supposed to deliver the bed I ordered for the guest room, so I'm waiting at the apartment for the delivery guys to come. Plus there are (more) storms headed this way, so I may end up curling up and taking a nap this afternoon. Or maybe just curling up with my book--I'm reading the 8th Outlander novel, and I want to finish it before I leave for Virginia next week. I have been really surprised at how much I've LOVED this series...normally I am not a historical fiction person at all (I guess I get enough of it in my daily life), but I love these so much.

@futuremrshistorian This is my 2nd year participating and it's a lot of fun. There are so many places in our town that need help with just simple things so it's fun for us and the students and plus they through a HUGE party afterwards.

@southernpeach89 enjoy your long weekend! The dog festival sounds like it will be a lot of fun.

Last night we did a serious cleaning overhaul and managed to get all of the new things put away, plus reorganize the dressers and closet (my bf brought three trashbags of clothes from his parents, he officially has more dresser and closet space than I do). By the time we finished it was 10:30-11ish, so I went straight to bed.

Tonight, we're going to the one local park to take Calla for a walk. Hopefully it will help expel all of the extra energy she's had lately. Tomorrow my aunt and uncle are coming to visit to meet Em. I haven't seen them since Christmas so going to do my best to slip out early to have as much time as possible with them.

Not a lot last night. Matt and I had a serious discussion about budgeting, etc. We find out tonight about our offer on the house, but have decided if we don't get it then we don't even try for another house until the fall.

Tonight will probably pretty lax as well. My mum is meeting me after work and we're going to pick up snacks for my aunt's place on Sunday {we're going for a BBQ}, and afterwards I may throw laundry in or vacuum.

This weekend is shaping up to be busy. I'm not sure if or how long I'll be able to post tomorrow.

Friday - if everything goes through, I need to talk to the lawyers office down the hall and call my uncle.

Saturday - Matt's changing his tires at my mum's place and I'm going to attempt to mow the lawn. We're also going to talk to our cable company about the bundles and see if we can lower our bill. May bring some stuff down from the locker to sort through/pack. We're starting with locker and spare room.

Sunday - my aunt's place for a BBQ

Monday - Guys are fishing, I'm probably going to lounge around. I have my kobo, so it'll be good to just relax. Suppose to be nice out, I may bring my swimsuit. Idk .... should be nice to at least be outside!

@speakeasy14 As close as we can be, I guess. H's ENTIRE family lives in NJ so we are probably the most distant of the bunch but we try to see them and his other brother/SIL every single time we go down. I'm so jealous of your closet clean out! I reallllly need to finish mine.

@PamBeesly524 ugh it was not fun. I didn't get rid of anything, just had to reorganize my stuff so all of his stuff could fit. I swear he shops more than I do. I'm the one who has to wear suits for work... my dresses, suits jackets, and blazers take up not even 1/3 of the closet.

@MissKittyDanger LOL I have never heard of that but yes Callie has crawled on grass before. I just make sure to put bug spray on her so she doesn't get bit up. Why do parents wait to have their children crawl on grass?

Hi everyone!! I haven't had access to a laptop or computer because H needed to use ours, but starting today it's all mine. I have been lurking a little on my phone, but mobile sucks.

Short version: We are home from the hospital. I'm on strict bed rest and taking meds to space out the contractions so I don't dilate or progress. Weekly appointments to check. Meds suck but they are helping so I can't complain too much. I'm glad to finally have a laptop so I can come out and play. I've been so bored.
