  So yesterday I went to a workshop on active teaching methods, and all I want is to be assigned a class for this fall because I am freaking excited. I want to do better, more intentional examples, and splitting my course into learning modules rather than disjointed textbook chapters is gonna make my students be better able to connect things. Plus I learned better Blackboard tools and I am way overexcited for all of this.
  
  Tonight is gaming. I'm reviewing a friend's dissertation for style guide conformity (her university fired their style guide reviewer, didn't tell the students, then said "oh by the way you all still have to meet style guide ..."). Tomorrow is ... quiet? I want to do laundry and housework. I'd like to go through the closets and at least box up clothing. I'm aiming at more of a capsule wardrobe because I am fashion-challenged and maybe limiting my choices to things that definitely go together will make it less scary. H might mow the enchanted meadow, I mean lawn.
  
  Sunday looks quiet, too. I might do more housework and laundry with H. Late evening/overnight they're looking at the possibility of strong storms, so I'm hoping that doesn't happen but that we do get rain. I hate doing the late-night strong storms thing.
  
  Oh, and I found out that I have 19 hours of coverage per week for the summer. I'm not unemployed, but I'm underemployed. I may take some more time away from the office given that that's the case and work on household projects, volunteer at the church, go on playdates with my mom (less pathetic than it sounds), etc.

  @beachyone15 your beach weekend sounds amazing! Boo for the two day migraine though.  I always carry a peppermint oil roller to apply to my temples any time I get a migraine. Doesn't make them go away, but helps tremendously. 
  @TwoDimes you and your H are my favorite couple.  I love that you two do super cute things together.  That is a great dinner idea! 
  @eilis1228 glad the HR issue was not only resolved (please tell me that means those HR people are no longer there), but you also get to WFH 2 days a week!
  @pambeesly524 Happy early anniversary!

  @speakeasy14 HR people are still here, though the last I heard the CEO was considering firing the new lady. I doubt she will, but at least the higher ups are aware of the issue.

  Speaking of dress twins, I really wanted to wear the modcloth dress that @AlPacina and I both have.. I even had it packed and ready to go in my spin bag this morning but I woke up and as I was brushing my teeth looked down at my legs...
  
  Totally forgot I have to keep up with that whole leg-shaving thing now that it's getting warmer out. Pants it is today!

  @PamBeesly524 I hear you on the leg shaving. I love warmer weather but I hate shaving my legs/pits and maintaining my toenails to make sure the polish isn't chipped. Guys have it so easy.

  @wink0erin Seriously, it's hard enough in the winter to maintain my fingers but add in the toes in the summer!? UGH.

  @PamBeesly524 I stopped painting my fingernails because I hated maintaining them! They only get painted for super special occasions now, hahaha.

  @TwoDimes I feel bad for BF because I never shave for him. If I do actually shave I announce that I have and pretty much force him to pet my leg. Yet he still wants to live with me.

  @TwoDimes Congrats on the surprise week of vacation! That's fantastic.
  @eilis1228 Anyone who cares about hairy legs enough to mention it is not worth caring about. Unless this person is giving you a pedicure. That's the only exception  
  @KeptInStitches I have a German friend who claims that toe nail paint (and absolutely must having it) is very much an American thing. So...just pretend you're European and ignore the haters?
  
  Anyone else tired of society policing women's bodies and hygiene practices?
  
  My mother gave me a lovely bridal shower gift at bridal shower #1 (in one state), and told me multiple times it would be okay if I returned it. So I did, because I'm just not going to use it at all. Talked to my sister, and she says mom prolly thought I'd use it at Bridal Shower #2 (in another state) and the Bachelorette. So now I'm feeling bad about returning it.
  
  I hate this senseless guilt. It follows me everywhere.
