has anyone used the Brevard county mailaway marriage license?   Is it legit?

    You may get better responses by posting this on this area's local board. 

    Ive never heard of something like this but doesn't mean it can't be done.

    our wedding planner told us about the site, i don't see why it wouldn't be legit. i just filled out the marriage license info sheet and sent it back to them, they will hold it unil 60 days from our wedding date, start the paperwork, and mail it to us.


    Go to www.brevardclerk.us, and under 'General info' click on marriage licenses. on that screen, click on related links and 'mail away licnse information'. fill out that form and get it back to the office by mail, fax, or email.

    That's exactly what I did.  I called the county we will be getting married in and while they had never heard of mailaway licenses, any county's license is good in any Florida county so it should be fine! I just wanted to see if anyone else had used it before.

    They won't mail it to you until 30 days out so it will be another month or so before  I know
