I am so out of it today. It took forever for me to remember what day it even was this morning. H had to check his phone LOL

Last night was very chill. H worked really late (he got home around 9:30), and I took care of Zoey. I fed her regular dog food and monitored her for about an hour, and then when nothing came back up I played with her for like 2 hours straight. She had so much fun! Afterwards she slept in my lap while I did some research for my next interview.

Since H worked late, I ordered Chinese from one of my favorite restaurants that H doesn't like. I had delicious edamame, spring rolls, and chicken teriyaki. SO GOOD!

Tonight I will go to the gym, cook dinner, and probably do more research for my interview. I'm still waiting for them to choose a time and date, but I'll hopefully get that finalized sometime today.

@AlPacina Do you listen to the 90s station on Sirius? Because they had some fantastic music this morning, and I thought of you. I was jamming so hard on my way to work.

I love watching just about any sport but golf. I don't play sports. Nope, not at all.
5) How do you take your coffee/tea? I don't drink coffee, only tea. I drink it plain/as is, though sometimes I'll add honey. No sugar or milk.
6) If you won the lottery (Mega is $310 million), would you quit your job? I would quit my current job, yes. I probably find a passion project/volunteer opportunity/really cool internship and do that instead.
7) Top 3 countries you want to visit? England, Ireland, Scotland. If you want to consider those three one country, then I would say the UK, France, and Germany.
8) Do you think aliens exist? Yes, but I do not think they had anything to do with our evolution or the advancement of early civilizations. I'm not this dude:

9) What's the first movie you remember seeing in the theater? The Lion King. I was 5ish and had to sit on my aunt's lap.

@eilis1228 & the others who saw The Lion King in the theatre... you people make me feel OLD. SO OLD. (I also saw it in the theatre, but I was 13 lol)

Also @eilis1228 - I also got the FitBit Alta for my birthday and I LOVE it. I'm just waiting for them to FINALLY release the stainless steel band for it (which they've had on the website since before they released the actual Alta, but it's still not available yet. #sideeye)

Last night I went to Target after work because I needed to investigate swimwear, buy sunscreen, and buy pita chips for the TON OF HUMMUS I bought at Trader Joes this weekend (it is soooo gooood). I'm going to the beach this weekend with BF's family so I needed a swimsuit that wouldn't spew my bewbs everywhere and would contain my curvaceous buttocks. (Read as: all my swimwear is slightly too small).

I got home from Target and immediately put clothes in the wash, then started watching Escape Artist on prime while eating hummus, pita chips, and cheese. Basically the best dinner ever. I watched all three episodes because it had such a good story. Kind of messed up in parts, but I can't resist David Tennant's Scottish accent. *drool* Once I started to get ready for bed I realized I had left my clothes in the wash. Whoops. I threw them in the dryer and called it a night. I'm sure everything will be wrinkled.

I want to tell you all about my conference but know it will be a huge post with pictures... should I post an AW or just make a long post here in the daily thread?

1) What are you wearing? (bonus points for pics) No pics today, but I have on a fuschia shirt with navy blue piping. Oh, and black pants and shoes.
2) What's your favorite board game? Monopoly, I think. Its been a long time since I've played a board game. Maybe Chutes and Ladders?

4) What sport do you enjoy watching/playing? Watch-college football, gymnastics, any adaptive/paralympic sports Play- LOL. I'm more of a hiker/climber than a sportser.
5) How do you take your coffee/tea? Teaspoon of sugar and cream. Will go creamless and sugarless in some teas.
6) If you won the lottery (Mega is $310 million), would you quit your job? Not immediately, first I'd pay off my debts, put everything into savings, meet with a financial advisor to figure out the best ways to stay rich forever, and then I would quit, travel, basically shift my career into speaking engagements and such.
7) Top 3 countries you want to visit? Italy, Germany, Australia (which is thankfully both a country and a continent).
8) Do you think aliens exist? Not like they do in the movies, but I'm sure other lifeforms are out there.
9) What's the first movie you remember seeing in the theater? Lion King? I know I definitely watched movies before that, but I saw lion king twice in the theater and the whole Mufasa thing made it pretty memorable.
10) Link to an easy, yummy, summer recipe that you love. Buy a bunch of cheese. Cut it up. Place on a platter. Grab some crackers. ENJOY THE NOMS.

@eilis1228 Awww you made me blush. You're the sweetest! Well.....I Did have fun plans for this Sunday but DH decided that he wanted to work because apparently the restaurant is really busy on Father's Day and he thinks he is going to make some good money. So since I will only have a few hours with him, I plan to make him his favorite breakfast in bed and let him open his gifts. The following weekend we will grill out and I'll probably convince him to go play a round of golf or something.

@LizzyTish88 - I honestly forget I have it on most of the time, which is a problem because I end up wearing it in the shower almost every day. It's "water resistant" and has been fine, but they still recommend that you take it off to shower. Oops.

I also turned the text notifications off because I text with @swazzle, @csousa1, @Hummingbird125 & @buddysmom80 too much. But it IS a great feature!

@swazzle (and anyone else who loves monopoly) - check out Monopoly cards. It's pretty much like the board game, but is a deck of cards and takes 15 minutes to play. I'm currently on a 5 or 6 game winning streak against my bf.

Only $35! So I bought it! It's even cuter in person. I feel like it's rare when I get a good deal on something (because I usually just spend the money) but we are trying to save for the trip so I thought this was reasonable. So excited to use it!

I've found another food delivery service to try out - Sunbasket. They have a lot of options (Regular, Paleo, GF, Vegetarian, and Vegan) and everything is organic. I got a link to try it for free, so we'll see how they are.

Interview update: OK, so I thought it was a phone interview, but it's apparently going to be an in-person interview. The recruiter/Talent Acquisition Manager called me just now to nail down a time and date for me to go into the local office. She told me the interviews are normally 30 minutes, but she wants to schedule me for an hour because she thinks we'll have a "robust" conversation. She'll email me with more details as soon as she confirms everything with the manager. We're shooting for Friday at 1pm, so I'll have to pretend I have a late lunch planned with someone, and I'll have to keep my fancy work clothes in the car because Fridays are casual here. Should be interesting. Luckily the local office is just up the street from my current office, so it won't take very long get there and back.

So many butterflies in my stomach!
