Progressive Bluegrass first dance?

Hi! My fiancé and I have extremely different music tastes, but he seems willing to compromise with new bluegrass. I'm having a very hard time finding love songs, though! Does anyone have suggestions? Thanks!

It's not true bluegrass, but FW and I love Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros "Home."

ETA: It's also fast for a first dance, but you may be able to find a slower arrangement.

Who is your favorite group?  You could choose something you both like.

As Long as Our Hearts are Beating by Jenny & Tyler (might be a little more folk than bluegrass - but - it's a good one)

    Some other ideas:
Love and Nothing Else      OR     I'm Still in Love With You by Trampled by Turtles

Flowers in Your Hear by Lumineers

And well - it doesn't get much better than Chris Thile singing Love on Top :-)

A few years ago, Mumford and Sons released an EP (There are 4 songs total including these two) called "The Wedding Band"

  • How about Wagon Train by Darius Rucker or Old Crow Medicine Show? I have a friend who used this for her song with her hubby. Too cute.
