So the other night I was sitting on the couch when I felt little paws attacking my feet. When I looked down, Loki, my little attention whore was hamming it up. I snapped several pictures of his little show. This is a small sampling of his antics.

Aww love it! My drama queen cat tried getting out last night after I shooed her out of the storage room. Apparently if she can't have that room, she'd rather not live here at all.

This morning I woke up to my kitty Socks purring beside me. So cute right? Then I realize there's 2 clumps of barfed up hairball on the comforter, near the top, where my arm/face could be. Real nice cat, real nice.

With the addition of a third kitty last fall I officially crossed into "crazy cat lady" territory. But between me and the fi, that's only 1.5 cats per member of the household, which seems totally within the realm or normal. Right? And since the house is 3 floors including the finished basement, that's just one cat per floor which is totally normal. Right?

Here are the three all snuggled up together recently, which is quite rare. Particularly the tuxedo kitty (Ellie) is a little old lady who has zero use for the youthful antics of the other two (Pixel in the middle, and baby Sophie the tortie on the left.) My fi is the lump under the blankets--for whatever reason they all prefer his side of the bed.

And because I can't resist, here is one of my favorite pics ever of Pixel sprawling out and Ellie being dainty and scornful in the background. Boy does that big fluffy cat ever know how to relax! I have never been around another cat who loves to lounge on their back like this.

Our cats cause shinanigans all the time and actually I have a great story from yesterday

Every morning when I get up, I open the patio door for fresh air. Apparently night before, my H had been on the balcony and forgot to close the screen door. Penny - ginger/female/almost 4yrs old - was curious enough that while I was getting things ready for the day, she snuck out. I know this because when I went to do something in the living room, I saw her climbing back into the room!

*sigh* I gave her crap for going out, then gave my H crap for not closing balcony

Angel - tuxedo/male/10yrs old - is basically a pile of cuddly fur. He's a huge mama's boy and super handsom. He's also a poly dactyl {6 toes on each paw

Moose is terrified of all three cats, despite the fact that he's a lot bigger than they are. But then again, he occasionally gets scared of his own bark.

We were thinking about getting a sensored pet door. So only our dog could go in the backyard, not our indoor cat. And also so no other animals (or people!) could get into the house.

When I was reading the reviews, one guy was talking about that his indoor cat had figured out...if she followed the dog closely, she could get out also! Except then she couldn't get back in, lol.

I'll post a pic later of my cute kitty girl. For her bit of oddity, she is a Manx and was born without a tail.

I have no new pictures of our two crazies, but I think one of them hates us. She has been extremely nasty lately. When I was sitting on the couch earlier, she jumped up next to me and we had a little bit of an intervention; maybe she'll stop literally biting the hands that feed her. She could probably be on that show My Cat from Hell.

I love this thread and seeing all your furbabies!! Last night Pearl was being so cute! She has started laying on her back a lot and it's adorable! She also lets me wrap her up in a blanket and she actually fell asleep the other day!

Oh damn I'm late to the party

^This is Milo, she's basically a sassy little punk. Also she runs around and parkors around the apartment after she poops, we think she's trying to escape the smell.

This is shy Murphy, she's a chubby fluff ball. She likes to eat my hair and take over my pillow when I sleep. Yesterday she tried to bite my butt, wtf Murphy?

Haha yours too!? Murphy just likes that side of the bed, nothing to do with stress. Me and FH recently switched the sides we sleep on so she used to sleep above his head :P
