Hello!

I'm eating tomatoes from my garden and they're the greatest tomatoes of all time! I also picked a jalapeno and 2 zucchinis last night!

I wish H and I were going on our weekly sushi date tonight but we're tight on $$$ so we have to skip it

I have to catch up on BB after work in preparation for tonight's live eviction because I lost track of time last night while reading and forgot to turn it on.

I am boring today.

Last night our friends came over and brought the pups. I didn't feel well at all, but I did want Tessie to get some play time. They didn't stay too late. After they left we watched AGT and went to bed.

Today I have a ton to do at work, then I have the cheer meeting tonight. I am trying to get everything together for it, including all my concerns for the season. Other than that, not too much going on here either.

last night was totally boring but nice. The company outing took a lot of out of me so I lounged around and knitted. We started watching Stranger Things on Netflix and it is so weird and so good.

Today's my birthday!!! (Happy Birthday @labro!!

) I started off the morning at spin class and then my coworker who goes to class with me and I went to a local bagel place and binged on an egg sandwich for breakfast. I am so full and it feels so good. Tonight H is cooking dinner (crepes!) and then this weekend we go up to NH to celebrate with my parents.

Crindy celebrated my birthday by not meowing non-stop until 2:30am instead of 10:30pm. Cooper celebrated by sleeping on my head for 3 hours in the middle of the night.

Happy Friday Eve! Yesterday we got some rain (which was much needed in this 100 degree heat), so H and I decided to make grilled cheese and soup for dinner. We finished watching The Men Tell All, which was pretty entertaining.
Today I have a meeting with the new girl helping me with one of the major processes I do, so I'm hoping we can split up duties fairly easily. I have to drive to the downtown campus for that, which I'm actually looking forward to because at least it will get me out of the office. When I walked in this morning, orientation was going on and there were students everywhere! I'm not ready for summer to be over!
I'm looking forward to this weekend, especially because H and I ordered a headboard that should be coming in tomorrow!

@swazzle - I'm sorry you have to skip sushi night. H and I went to Subway for our last date night, so I understand!

@TwoDimes - That's funny! We have bunnies too, so sometimes I worry about getting a dog. I love that the bunnies eat our weeds!

@Swazzle Yum! DH just brought home some fresh brussel sprouts and peppers from his garden. I can't wait to eat them.

Last night @labro came over and kept me company while DH worked. It was the best! Callie definitely had a better night with her there and Cinders. We ordered pizza and had wine and watched The Men Tell All. All the dramz.

Today we are going out to lunch at a really yummy Mexican restaurant for her bday. Tonight I'll probably go to CrossFit and I'm making Asian noodles with stir fry veggies.

ALSO!!! Callie is 10 months today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Where has my baby gone????? Why is she getting so big????

Not much last night. Matt was home because his sleep schedule is super off, so he's not getting sleep that well. Since he was home I made him make dinner lol We have this casserole we tend to make more in colder weather, but he wasn't sure what else to make. Down side is our kitchen is a disaster and it's so warm, we didn't do dishes

I organized it but didn't help at all ....

Tonight is a bank appointment for the joint account at his bank for mortgage, condo fees and property tax. I'm not 100% if I'll switch banks yet. I'll decide after we move. We also need to get packing, we're running low on time!

Found out yesterday that our August 1st rent might be last we pay! We're still putting aside money in case, but if it's not needed we have money for fridge and to pay off for mattress. Yay

This weekend is first anniversary {yay!!} With moving and stuff, we're going pretty low-key. Dinner Friday night at Red Lobster and Monday - actual anniversary - we're going to go for cupcakes at the place who did our wedding cupcakes/top tier and Parliament Hill does a light show. Usually we go closer to my bday, but we're going to be in the area for cupcakes so might as well!

Good morning everyone! Slow start for me. I spent the morning reading in bed and now I am going to start the day. At some point today I have to take my brother to his doctor for a quick test and then figure out what my H and I are eating for dinner.
Sadly, my H got home too late last night for wings. It gets really busy at this wing joint, so you have to get there early. I ended up making a pesto pasta with chicken sausage, tomatoes and broccoli. It was very good. After that we decided to get some ice cream since it's sooo hot. We ended up going to a food truck that's getting a lot of hype for their ice cream. It's Thai style and wicked yummy. Here's a pic:

I'm currently waiting for IT to help with my computer. I'm getting an error in powerpoint so I can't edit the project I'm trying to work on. So far everything they've tried hasn't fixed it.

@twodimes I need to do more googling about it, but from what I understand is it's kind of like coldstone (but wayway better)? You can see the guy in the pic is using a scraper and he just scrapes up the ice cream once it is cold and makes the thin sheet into rolls. The ice cream had the same flavor but we know they used coconut cream. SO GOOD. It was kind of pricey but so worth it for homemade ice cream.

Today will be a whole lot of boring. Not too much on my work calendar, and then we have to stick around the house later to go pick up my BF's brother and his wife at the airport tonight. I told them we'd feed them, so I think we'll grill some carne asada.

I'm about to listen to President Obama's speech, because I heard it was good. I have been so insanely emotional the last two weeks with all the convention coverage! I am just DISGUSTED that I'm watching a video of "What The World Needs Now Is Love" performed by amazing singers covered in smiles, and the majority of comments are still negative, if not directly hateful. I don't do well with negativity, and it's breaking my heart.

@Swazzle I am SUPER jealous of your tomatoes. Our garden has been a COMPLETE bust this year. Something ate all of our tomato plants, most of our corn blew over in a windstorm/got eaten. Our cucumber plants randomly died. It's so so sad.

She's growing up so quickly. It just blows me away!

When I got home I arrived to the sweetest birthday card from H and a beautiful bouquet of flowers! He's so amazing! I love him through all the highs and lows and I'm so glad we have each other in our lives.

Today I opened up my gift from my ILs which is a cute little summer bag with twisted cotton rope handles! It's so fun and adorable!

Otherwise I've been working like crazy. The only thing that has made up for it was lunch with my mom and @southernpeach89. I had a margarita with my grilled shrimp tacos and I'm feeling just a teensy bit tipsy...sure does make working fun!

I have no idea what, if anything, we're doing for my birthday tonight. But wine will be involved obviously.
