Silly question here but having a discussion with FI and need opinions!
We are getting married in two weeks. We are having our place cards printed by the same lady who did our invitations. We are having a pretty fancy affair at the country club. As far as place cards go, I think it is acceptable to just use first and last names, married or not. For example, "John and Jane smith" whereas FI thinks it's only appropriate for married couples to be addressed on the place cards as Mr and Mrs smith.
Super silly I know but I want to figure out what is more appropriate etiquette. Thanks all!
