Dress encouragement? (pics)

So, I got my dress a few months back and have been absolutely, totally in love with it. I’m having a fall wedding outdoors with an emphasis on warm-toned string lighting and cream flowers for decoration. It’s a soft ivory with gold detail that flatters my coloring, and it makes my look like 3 sizes smaller! (I’m a 14/16). Totally my dream dress! However, one snide comment from a “friend” has me doubting my choice. Is this.. tacky? For reference regarding the formality/tone of the event, I’m also posting my bridesmaid dresses.

It's lovely. Even if your friend doesn't like it, tacky was a weird word to use...nothing on earth about your dress is tacky. And that's one of the nicest BM dresses I've ever seen!

Who makes this dress? It is beautiful, and unusual in its design! I love seeing a dress that looks classic and demure. Some of today's wedding gowns, with see through panels and cleavage displaying necklines really turn me off. This one is just beautiful!
