I recently saw the show Dont tell the Bride( which is a show where the FI makes all the decisions regarding the wedding: dress, venue, flowers etc.) If your FI was given 25, 000 dollars to plan your wedding without your input, do you think he could pull off the wedding of your dreams? what would it look like? lol

I have honestly considered it. Mentioned to FI a couple times we could bring my reception dress and go for it I wasn't sure if it would be weird doing it there on the honeymoon instead of at the wedding location though lol Maybe I was overthinking that :P

How long have you done crochet and what first got you started?
My grandmother taught me when I was young, but it was just something I'd do when visiting her (I was like 7 or 8). Then I didn't do it for YEARS and about 3 years ago my roommate mentioned wanting to learn so we both went out and bought the stuff, I played around a bit to make sure I still remembered then taught her some basic stitches (enough to do a pattern).

What is you and your FIs favorite thing to do on a night out together?!!
We're both big into nature and the outdoors so our favourite date nights are sitting around a bonfire, hiking, going for a bike ride or walking the dogs on the local nature trails, etc.

What is one of your biggest pet peeves?
The sound of people eating hahaha! I know, weird, but the actual sound of chewing drives me NUTS. I can't eat with someone if they do with their mouth open, and anytime we have dinner there's music on to mask the sound lol

Well FI knows I just wanted to elope somewhere beautiful together, so I'm sure he could totally pull that off. He's obsessed with Cabo so we likely would have been eloping there, and staying at the resort we're honeymooning at because we both are in love with that Maybe our 'reception' (just us of course) at the Cabo Wabo Cantina lol

Where in Canada? lol! I am outside Windsor which is pretty much the same city as Detroit so I'm not that different than most of you, infact there are areas in Michigan in the UP that have colder temps for much of the year then we do here! Where I grew up was different, as kid we'd often still have snow on my birthday (end of April).

Also - is there any better (less expensive/more reliable) way to get around Canada?
I have been blessed that being in the military I was able to usually hop on a flight for free or cheap thanks to that perk. I don't know if there is a reliable way, I always drive lol although sometimes that's a LONG drive

Do you collect anything?
Actually yes, my mother started me with a spoon collection a long time ago as a little kid on family vacations. I didn't for awhile but recently started picking them up again when I went places

What is your favorite animal ?
I love the white tiger, always been a fascination of mine

Can this be a sticky ?
That's up to Kimmy and Sam lol I know the actual sign up for this is a sticky now Not sure if we need each week stickied during the week or if that's too much effort when we can just watch for it lol

What is your least favorite fruit?
Umm... Pineapples. I like them cooked into stuff, but don't actually really like them raw

Where are you going on your next vacation?
Well the wedding is in Muskoka, and the honeymoon in Los Cabos. After that I believe FI and I are talking about Vegas next We do want to travel a lot though, so maybe something before that

If you could live anywhere, but have to live there for the rest of your life, where would it be?
Muskoka, hands down.

What's your biggest fear?
Failure. Not just any failure, I fear failing the people that are important to me. Always been a problem.
Oh, and according to a shrink I had to see once upon a time apparently I have a big fear of loss of control

What accomplishment are you most proud of?
Hmmm.... My black belts are something I've always been pretty proud of, especially given the fact they are in full contact styles and women at the time were not all that encouraged. That or my military ranking and time I served.

If you could have any animal as a pet, what would it be and why?
I have a serious love of German Shepherds for pets. They are SO loyal and loving, and I love the fact they are protective because you feel safe home alone, with family, or leaving a family member home alone. We have my dope, who is a Shepherd cross but has those personality traits right now. We've already talked about getting another Shepherd once we get our own house.

What is your go to comfort food when you are sick?
Sushi lol FI thinks I'm crazy, but its the first thing I want lol

For least favourite I'm going to say my aisle runner. I LOVE the look of it now but as Jen can attest (I texted her frequently during that time looking for motivation) I HATED it at the time... it was SO tedious lol

What is your dream car?
I don't have a dream car, but I do have a dream truck! I want a black Ford F450, raised up, chrome rims and the whole bit! I have had a 'dream truck' for awhile now lol

Biggest wedding day fear is something serious/catastrophic happening to someone we love. I think already answered biggest fear in life
