  So I'm going through bariatric sleeve prep, and one of the things required is to get a psych eval for it. They gave me, what I thought, was 2 recommendations for docs.  today in my nutrition appt the nurse said she thought it wasn't a recommendation but a requirement to use theirs.  I told her I couldn't get a hold of the one psychiatrist that was in my network so I found my own.  She said she would try to contact them and see....but it's 12:30 now and no call from anyone yet.  They're having as much luck as I did (I left him 2 messages!).  I would like to know if i have to switch appts and free up my night though. ugh. 
  
  also, this post reminded me that it's only Tuesday.  Does it feel later than that for anyone else?  Monday must have been a drag.

  Well, I got prime! Technically it's the 30 day free trial, but I think I'll keep it afterwards. I bought a kindle, been wanting to upgrade for a while and it was $40 off. Agree though that the deals aren't as good as I thought they were going to be.

  Ah, my brother (niece's father) texted me this morning asking if I had room this weekend.
  
  
  
  
  Apparently it's the only weekend they can get here before school starts and my niece really wants to take them on a some hikes before she leaves next month.
  
    DH's friend is coming tomorrow, staying until Monday.   They are now coming Sat AM. leaving Monday afternoon.     And I'm doing a 14er on Friday.  And I'm working on Saturday.
  
  Fun weekend here at the lyndausvi household.
  
  
  Yep, I'm a push over and said they could come.   Niece will have to sleep on the sofa with her brother (large sectional - actually too large for the room), so her parents get her room.  Friend is down in the exercise room (with a new sofa bed and own bathroom).   
  
  Sigh.  At least I have this at the house. For the record, a member dropped off case of Tito's for DH.  He stopped drinking vodka 15 months ago.  Moved to Tequila.   We know the owners of the store and they let us exchange the Tito's for something else.  So now we have a tequila bar.
  
  
  

  
  

  
  

  
  

  
  

  
  

  
  

  What differentiates an average host and a great host is anticipating unexpressed needs and wants of their guests.  Just because the want/need is not expressed, doesn't mean it wouldn't be appreciated.

  Darn you Amazon and your "special" shopping days, lol.  And now I'm $250 poorer.  Only three items I bought that were "specials" and one of them was still twice what I would pay in a grocery store (Perrier Green Apple)...if I could buy it in a local grocery store.  But I can't.

  One of the other "special" items was (I think) an impulse purchase from my H.  He swore it wasn't.  But then I saw it on the first page of Prime Deals, lol.

  My H had been talking about for awhile that he needed a number of things on Amazon, including flea medicine for our cat.  So I told him to "hop to", in case any of his items were on sale.  They weren't.  His wish list was $105, not including his impulse "special deal".  And he forgot the cat medicine, but at least I didn't.  Not on sale, meh.  But at least it finally got ordered.

  @6fsn just this past weekend, H says to me, "I think it's time to throw these out" as he's holding a shredded pair of boxers. Like how they were holding anything in, IDK.

  Ha!  He still has a pair from his high school girlfriend. I should probably care, but don't.
