Real Estate. I just don’t understand how it works in this country. We have to move in less than 6 weeks. I am having a hard time even getting real estate companies to call me back!
There is all sorts of bullshit and running around to switch utilities and move out of our current place. I was not here last time, DH had to do this but he swears it takes 3 weeks. It probably won’t but he is breathing down my neck to find a place. We haven’t even narrowed down what part of the city we want to live in yet. It would be nice to be able to narrow the search a bit.
There is a place near us that has dropped into our price range that I would put money down on it today if they would fucking show it to me. Then again, there are slightly smaller places all the way in the city (pro: closer to activities con: possible traffic) for ~3-5k less. I want to see those too.
This lady I just spoke with said she would call me back in 2 weeks to set up a showing. It is like they want you to be pressed for time so you have to make a snap decision and that aggravates me. I love shopping but I need to see evvvvvvverrythang before I can commit to a purchase (DH is the impulse shopper in this relationship). That being said, why wouldn’t a real estate agent want to build a relationship with you? Why are you making it so hard for me to give you money??!
Thanks for listening. What’s yours?
