Shoes, check! So excited! They are in the mail and should be here any day. I didn't think I would find something in lavender, because I've been looking for forever, and not only did I find them, they are seriously the most adorable heels I've ever seen!

So I showed you mine, show me yours! Did anyone else have trouble finding THE perfect shoes in the right colour? I think of all my wedding planning, my shoes were the biggest nightmare! Horror stories anyone? lol.

I looked a long, long, LONG time for something in gray, orange, or teal that felt kind of vintagey/ '20's-ish, but also didn't have a huge heel (comfort!), but also had a wider heel (we're outside all day!)- Finally found these at Aerosoles on clearence for $20:

They were perfect once I added clips and glittered the soles

I searched hard for mine. I wanted lace on them. I couldn't believe how hard it was to find until I started looking for them. Can you believe that the bridal shop tried to talk me out of them just to make the hem line work.

It took me months to find them because I really wanted a shoe like this in white (that didn't cost a fortune) and couldn't find them anywhere. I finally decided to just get them in silver since I wasn't finding any that I liked as much. And because I waited, I got them on clearance at an awesome price

I think ideally I would love a peep toe or D'orsay style shoe, closed toe is OK though, but I don't think I'm into a thinner strappy sandal style. I found mine on zappos - I wanted purple "statement" shoes, perhaps something sparkly, with a heel that wasn't too high. They were on sale, they had one pair left, and they happened to be my size! I think it was fate =]

Love all these shoes. Here are the ones I currently have, but I am not 100% sure that I am wearing these. I'm still looking... I wish I could wear heels, but my FI is only 5'7" and I'm 5'4". Ordinarily, I don't mind if I am a little taller than him when I wear heels, but on our wedding day, I want to be shorter. I know it probably doesn matter, but I've thought this through a lot, and have decided not to wear heels.

Me too!!! I feel like Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise if I wear heels..haha! Typically I don't mind either, but for the wedding I'll be doing either barefoot or colored flip flops (it's outdoors). I'm 5'6" and FI is 5'9"-ish
